Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Equip your vehicle for towing and hitch-mounted accessories with a dependable CURT 2" trailer hitch. Designed for a vehicle-specific fit, CURT receiver hitches provide a strong and secure connection point for towing trailers, carrying bikes, transporting cargo and using other compatible 2-inch hitch accessories.
Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.

Do not exceed the lower of your vehicle manufacturer's towing rating or these hitch specifications.
No. The manual explicitly states 'Do Not Use With Spring Bars' for this weight-carrying hitch. This is a weight-carrying ball mount only, not a weight-distributing system.
The maximum gross trailer weight is 4000 lb (1816 kg) and the maximum tongue weight is 400 lb (182 kg). However, you must not exceed the lower of your vehicle manufacturer's towing rating or these hitch specifications.
Required tools are: round file, tape, short Phillips head screwdriver, flat-blade screwdriver, wrenches in sizes 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 17mm, 19mm, and 9/16", and a 7/16" drill bit. A torque wrench is also required to tighten fasteners to specification.
The fastener kit 75778F includes: (2) M8 x 1.25 x 30mm CL10.9 hex bolts, (4) M10 x 1.25 x 30mm CL8.8 hex bolts, (3) M12 x 1.25 x 35mm CL8.8 hex bolts, (12) 3/8" conical toothed washers, (3) 1/2" conical toothed washers, (1) 3/8"-16 GR 5 U bolt, (2) 3/8-16 flanged lock nuts, (2) 3/8-16 x 1-1/4" GR 8 hex bolts, and (2) 3/8-16 GR 5 hex nuts.

You must remove: (1) splash guards from both driver's and passenger's side wheel wells by removing 3 Phillips head screws and 1 push pin per side; (2) appearance panels from each side by removing push pins and M6 bolts to access frame rails; (3) tow hook from driver's side frame rail by removing 4 M10 fasteners; and (4) suspension damper on driver's side for wrench clearance. All removed components except the 2 M8 bolts from the passenger's side frame should be retained and reinstalled after hitch installation.
Yes. After the hitch is installed, you must elongate the rearmost hole in the passenger-side frame using a drill or file by approximately 1/8". After drilling or filing, paint the bare metal to prevent corrosion.
Torque specifications are: M8 x 1.25 CL10.9 fasteners to 25 lb.-ft. (34 N·M); M10 x 1.25 CL8.8 fasteners to 42 lb.-ft. (57 N·M); M12 x 1.25 CL8.8 fasteners to 76 lb.-ft. (103 N·M); U bolt lock nuts to 35 lb.-ft. (47 N·M); and 3/8-16 grade 8 fasteners to 45 lb.-ft. (61 N·M). Use a torque wrench to achieve these specifications.
1. Remove splash guards from both wheel wells. 2. Remove appearance panels to access frame rails. 3. Remove tow hook from driver's side frame rail. 4. Remove suspension damper on driver's side. 5. Remove and discard 2 M8 bolts from passenger's side frame. 6. Raise hitch into position and install fasteners into existing weldnuts (except bolt-on bracket). 7. Torque all fasteners to specification. 8. Elongate rearmost hole in passenger-side frame and paint. 9. Install U bolt with conical washers taped in place. 10. Install bolt-on bracket with remaining fasteners. 11. Torque U bolt lock nuts and grade 8 fasteners to specification. 12. Reinstall suspension damper. 13. Reinstall splash guards.
The 2 existing M8 bolts located on the bottom flange at the end of the passenger's side frame (just rearward of the exhaust hanger bracket) are removed and discarded. They are not reused.
The conical toothed washers are installed over the U bolt to act as spacers. They are taped in place until the bolt-on bracket is installed to hold them in position during assembly.
Observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball that has been damaged should be removed and replaced immediately.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. Verify that all M8, M10, and M12 fasteners are torqued to their specified values, and that the U bolt lock nuts and grade 8 fasteners are properly tightened. Inspect for any loose or missing fasteners before towing.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. The manual does not specify an exact interval, but regular inspection before towing is recommended to ensure safe operation.

Make sure the accessory does not exceed the hitch’s tongue weight rating, the vehicle’s limits or the accessory manufacturer’s capacity.
