The difference between the OneControl Hotspot and the average, off-the-shelf mobile hotspot solution is simple. Our hotspot was specifically engineered for travel. Using Direct Link Technology, this kit equips your RV with the fastest 4G LTE connectivity available, up to 150 MBPS — plus, the roof-mounted, waterproof antennae increase the signal strength far beyond the capabilities of store-bought hotspots that can weaken just by being moved around a campsite.
Unlike a smartphone hotspot, the OneControl Hotspot lets you connect multiple devices without sacrificing connectivity speed and reliability, so nobody is left arguing over who gets to hook up to the network. This also gives you the freedom to take your phone with you on the go, instead of leaving it back at the RV for others to tether to it.
This kit also solves the many issues of campground Wi-Fi networks. From no Wi-Fi available to too many campers slowing down the connection, campground networks can be pretty unreliable. The OneContol Hotspot gives you a more secure, more stable Wi-Fi connection that you don’t have to share with everybody around you. Even with a Wi-Fi extender, your signal might be stronger in a congested area, but it doesn’t necessarily make your connection any faster. Our internet hotspot gives you the luxury of your own dedicated connection, anywhere, anytime.
Hotspot prepped RVs are upfit with a hotspot antenna prep plate located on the roof of the RV. Simply remove the screws, detach the prep plate, connect the coaxial cables to the Hotspot’s antennae, and then finally screw the antennae back in place where the prep plate was. To install the Hotspot’s router, simply attach the coaxial cables from the prep plate inside the RV to the cellular gateway, connect the power source, and installation is complete.
