Built on the idea that a deluxe ride needs a deluxe entrance, these 7" ovals have a width comparable to some of the largest running boards available. This, combined with the classic styling of popular nerf bars, allows Regal 7 oval side steps to easily live up to their name. Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Chevy Avalanche, Silverado 1500, 2500 HD, 3500 HD, Suburban, 1500 or 2500 and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 HD, 3500 HD, Yukon XL, 1500 or 2500 (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

Yes, the Model 400713 step bracket is designed for 2007 GM Silverado and Sierra Extended/Crew Cab Pickups. It also fits 2007 GM Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche, Yukon, and Yukon XL models. The REGAL 7 Oval Steps (Models 477078, 477088, 477098) are universal applications and can be attached to the 400713 brackets.
Three lengths are available: Model 477078 (76"), Model 477088 (86"), and Model 477098 (96"). Each model comes as left-hand and right-hand pairs, except the 96" model which includes one left-hand step (part 552061) and one right-hand step (part 552062).
Yes, the step is pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. You do not need to assemble the step itself; you only need to attach it to the mounting brackets.
The step assembly includes 16 hex head screws (5/16-18 x 1.0", stainless steel, black), 16 flat washers (5/16", stainless steel, black), and 16 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18, stainless steel). These fasteners attach the step assembly to the support mounting plates and brackets. Eight support mounting plates (11 gauge galvanized) are also included.
The bracket package includes six mounting brackets, six nylon spacer washers, 12 M8 x 30 mm stainless steel screws, 12 flat washers (5/16"), six 5/16" x 1.00" zinc-plated screws, six M8 flanged nuts (zinc-plated), six 5/16" U-nuts, and six pinch weld support brackets. The specific fasteners used depend on whether your vehicle has threaded inserts or U-nuts in the rocker panel.
Yes. Some 2007 GM vehicles have threaded inserts in the rocker panels, while others do not. If your vehicle has threaded inserts, you will use black M8 x 30 mm screws (part 100180) instead of the 5/16-18 x 1.0 screws. Check your rocker panel before starting installation to determine which fasteners to use.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item 9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut, attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
1. Insert 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts (item 7) into the upper holes in the rocker panel, unless your vehicle has threaded inserts. 2. Attach the top of the brackets (item 1) to the vehicle with 5/16-18 x 1.0 screws and flat washers (items 5 and 4), hand tightened only. 3. Insert a nylon washer (item 2) between the top of the mounting bracket and the bottom of the rocker panel. 4. Install the black M8-1.25 screw (item 3) and washer (item 4). 5. Place the pinch weld support bracket (item 8) above the pinch weld and install the M8 flange nut (item 6), unless a threaded insert is present. 6. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
All 5/16" fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This applies to the hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts that attach the step assembly to the mounting brackets.
All fasteners on the Model 400713 mounting brackets must be tightened to 19 LB FT. This includes the 5/16-18 x 1.0 screws, M8 x 30 mm screws, and M8 flange nuts that attach the brackets to the vehicle.
Yes. When attaching the top of the Model 400713 brackets to the vehicle with 5/16-18 x 1.0 screws and flat washers, hand tighten only first. After all fasteners are in place and the step is positioned correctly, tighten all fasteners to the final torque specification of 19 LB FT.
