This, combined with the classic styling of popular nerf bars, allows Regal 7 oval side steps to easily live up to their n ame. Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Toyota Tundra (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

The REGAL 7 Oval Steps are listed as universal applications in the manual. The model 400752 step brackets are specifically designed for 2007 and newer Toyota Tundra Double Cab and Crew Maxx pickups. To use the steps on a Toyota Tundra, you must use the 400752 brackets. The steps themselves are available in three lengths: 76" (477078), 86" (477088), and 96" (477098). Verify your truck's cab style (Double Cab or Crew Maxx) matches the bracket compatibility before purchasing.
Three lengths are available: 76" (model 477078), 86" (model 477088), and 96" (model 477098). The 76" and 86" models come as left-hand and right-hand pairs. The 96" model is available as a left-hand only (552061) or right-hand only (552062) step.
The step is pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside driver's side step assembly. You only need to attach the pre-assembled step to the mounting brackets during installation.
Read the complete installation instructions and verify that all required parts listed on the service parts list are on hand before starting. The step assembly requires mounting brackets to be installed first on your vehicle. Follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package (such as model 400752 for Toyota Tundra) to mount the brackets to the vehicle before attaching the steps.
For each step assembly, you receive: 16 hex head cap screws (5/16-18 x 1.0", stainless steel, black), 16 flat washers (5/16", stainless steel, black), and 16 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18, stainless steel). These fasteners attach the step assembly and support mounting plates to the mounting brackets. Eight support mounting plates (11 gauge galvanized steel) are also included.
For each bracket, you need: M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screws, 5/16" flat washers (zinc-plated), and 5/16" lock washers (zinc-plated). The brackets attach to existing threaded inserts in the vehicle's rocker panel using these fasteners. The manual specifies 16 screws, 16 flat washers, and 16 lock washers in the service parts list.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut, attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket together. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT torque.
The brackets are identified with notches on the inboard edge: 1 notch for bracket #1, 2 notches for bracket #2, and so on. Bracket #1 must be positioned at the front of the vehicle. Position the brackets so that both holes line up with the threaded inserts in the rocker panel interior wall. Attach the top of each bracket with an M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screw, 5/16" flat washer, and lock washer. Level the brackets and tighten the fasteners to 19 LB FT.
All 5/16" fasteners on the REGAL 7 Oval Steps must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This applies to the hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts that attach the step assembly to the mounting brackets.
The M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screws that attach the 400752 brackets to the Toyota Tundra rocker panel must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
