Each box features five sliding drawers, a corrosion-resistant aluminum construction and a stainless steel locking system -- all to keep your equipment and valuables safe and easily accessible whenever needed. The tool box itself is constructed from extra-thick aluminum for increased structural strength. The tub is welded together into a single piece for weather resistance, and the door features a stainless steel, key-operated T-handle. Stainless steel construction supplies the lock with long-lasting corrosion resistance, and the door also has a MicroSeal gasket, blocking moisture, dust and insects from getting inside and damaging your valuables. The drawers of this tool box are constructed from commercial-grade, precision-injected plastic for strength and smooth operation. They slide on stainless steel ball bearings and sliders for excellent corrosion resistance. UWS drawer tool boxes are available in multiple sizes to accommodate any storage need. The package includes one drawer truck tool box, one key, four hex bolts (1/4" x 1-1/4"), eight flat washers (1/4"), and four nylock nuts (1/4"). The tool box contains two removable bottom drawers.

You will need a drill, drill bit set (including a 1/4" bit), ratchet, socket set, and tape measure. The installation is rated as Easy difficulty.
Yes. Before installation, remove the bottom two drawers from the tool box. These are re-installed after the main box is mounted and secured.
Before drilling into your truck bed, check underneath the vehicle to ensure the drill location does not puncture, cut or obstruct any brake lines, fuel lines, electrical wires, fuel tanks, or other components. Take precaution that fasteners near the fuel tank do not create the possibility of fuel tank puncture or damage during a collision.
Drill 1/4" holes. Use the guide holes on the inside of the tool box to mark the mounting surface on your truck bed.
Yes. Treat or seal all fasteners and exposed metal in any holes drilled in the vehicle to prevent corrosion. This protects your truck bed from rust and water damage.
The torque specification for 1/4" bolts is 3 ft-lbs. However, the manual notes that these are general guidelines. If you purchase replacement hardware, use the torque specifications provided with that hardware, as they may differ.
Place the tool box on the mounting surface and mark the mounting holes using the guide holes on the inside of the box. Drill 1/4" holes and align them with the box holes. Insert one 1/4" bolt and flat washer on the inside of the tool box, then secure with a flat washer and nylock nut on the underside of the mounting surface. Repeat for each mounting hole and tighten all hardware.
Re-install the bottom two drawers after the main tool box is mounted and all hardware is tightened.
Do not use this product for storing or transporting flammables, explosives, hazardous materials or hazardous waste, such as containers of gasoline, solvents, gun powder, dynamite, propane tanks, acetylene tanks and cutting torches. Doing so creates a danger of explosion.
Yes. Never exceed the vehicle manufacturer's recommended capacity. The tool box must not interfere with factory-installed safety equipment.
Ensure all knobs, bolts, screws, straps and locks are firmly secured. Periodically re-tighten and inspect all components for signs of wear, corrosion and fatigue. With the drawer tool box installed, periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight.
Use mild automotive detergent to clean the product. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or other similar products that may damage the finish. For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes, polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs.
The manual recommends periodic re-tightening and inspection of all components before every trip. Periodically inspect all mounting hardware to ensure it remains tight and check for signs of wear, corrosion and fatigue.
