- Split reel automatically stops turning whenever cranking is stopped, locking load in place
- Powder coated matte black finish, zinc plated TUFFPLATE finish on hardware
- Will hold up to 82' of 7/32" cable, up to 59' of 1/4" cable, or up to 49' of 9/32" cable (cable sizes smaller or larger than these are not recommended)
- Split reel allows for simultaneous operation of two lines from opposite directions for greater versatility
- Made in the U.S.A.
Details
Applications requiring safe, controlled movement of loads need Dutton-Lainson Company worm gear winches. They hold your load exactly in position- automatically. There is no freewheel mode, no special mechanism required to stop gear movement, and they do not require a minimum load for operation. Features include:
- Laminated, high carbon steel gears for longer life
- All gears are heat treated for increased strength
- Permanently lubricated bearings on drive shafts are maintenance-free
- Non-loop drive models include a heavy duty steel handle with ergonomic molded grip
- Rigid, welded reel construction for added strength
- Load matched gear ratios for easier cranking
- All plated parts are zinc plated TUFFPLATE finish
- Slotted mounting holes for easy installation
- Heavy gauge embossed and reinforced steel bases for extra strength
- Available in standard or split reel and with handle, hex, or loop drive
All D-L worm gear winches are built for multipurpose hauling and lifting operations. They are not to be used as hoists for lifting, supporting, or transporting people, or for loads over areas where people could be present.
