The harness has the following circuit ratings: Signal Circuits – 3.0 amps per side, and Tail/Running Circuits – 6.0 amps total. Do not exceed the product rating or the tow vehicle lamp load rating, whichever is lower, as exceeding the rating can cause loss of warranty, overheating and potential fire.
You will need: Phillips screwdriver, flat blade screwdriver, and panel trim removal tool. A 3/32" drill bit is also required if you need to drill a pilot hole for the ground wire screw.

Open the vehicle tailgate. Remove the two fasteners securing each taillight. Carefully pull the taillight rearward, taking care not to damage the alignment tabs on the back of the housing.
The custom wiring harness end with the yellow wire connects to the driver side (left) taillight. Route this end out from under the vehicle through the body opening to the left taillight housing.
