The hitch includes: three 1/2-13 UNC Grade 8 bolts (1-3/4" long), one 3/8-16 UNC Grade 8 bolt (1-3/4" long), three 1/2-13 UNC Grade 8 serrated flange nuts, one 3/8-16 hex flange nut, three 0.250 × 1.00 × 2.50" square hole spacers, and one 0.250 × 1.00 × 2.00" square hole spacer. Two fishwires (1/2" and 3/8") are also included to position fasteners through frame rail access holes.
Before installation, lower the vacuum canister and the muffler with its rubber hanger bracket. The exhaust bracket should be discarded. The rubber muffler hanger should be inserted onto the exhaust hanger tab. These components must be lowered to provide access to the frame rail holes where the hitch fasteners are positioned.
Use the included fishwires to pull the bolts and square hole spacers into position through the access holes on the frame rails. The 3/8" fastener and spacer go into the forward-most hole on the passenger side. The remaining fasteners are positioned through other access holes. Once fasteners are in place via fishwire, raise the hitch into position and install the remaining fasteners.
