It provides a weight carrying capacity of 4,000 lbs. GTW and 600 lbs. TW. It is also compatible with a weight distribution hitch for level towing and a rating of 5,000 lbs. WD and 600 lbs. WDTW. Some automotive manufacturers install a special socket on the vehicle to be used for vehicle-to-trailer wiring.
