Measure 5" forward on the heat shield and make a 1.25" hole in line with the screw hole on both sides. Flattening the heat shield around the removed screw will aid in installing the forward flange nuts.

The kit includes: two 7/16-14 UNC 1-1/2" carriage bolts (part 10-10282), two 7/16-14 UNC 1" carriage bolts (part 10-10311), four 7/16-14 UNC hex flange nuts (part 20-00103), two .250 x 1.00 x 3.00" square hole spacers (part CM-SP6), two .250 x .88 x 2.25" square hole spacers (part CM-SP2), and four 7/16" fishwires (part 7_16 FISHWIRE).
1. Lower exhaust by removing five rubber isolators and the passenger side muffler. 2. Remove the rearward heat shield screw and trim heat shields (1.25" hole 5" forward). 3. Position hitch, mark rearward mounting holes, drill with 1/2" bit. 4. Reverse fishwire the 1-1/2" carriage bolts and spacers through drilled holes, then reverse fishwire the 1" carriage bolts and spacers into forward mounting slots. 5. Raise hitch and loosely secure with hex flange nuts. 6. Torque all 7/16" hardware to 59 ft-lbs and reinstall exhaust.
