Whatever your task at hand -- whether it's launching that boat before daybreak, setting up your camper before the rush or getting a final load to the dump before close -- CURT class 3 trailer hitches offer the strength needed for serious towing. They make it easy to hitch up and Bring It, offering a vehicle-specific fit and the weight capacity to handle a variety of trailers. Custom class 3 hitches are the most common type of receiver hitch for pickup trucks and SUVs. Because of their weight range, they are also found on full-size cars, crossovers and minivans. Each custom-fit class 3 hitch package is made for vehicle-specific mounting. This particular kit fits certain years of the Honda Odyssey (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 525 lbs. TW. It is also compatible with a weight distribution hitch for level towing and a rating of 5,000 lbs. WD and 525 lbs. WDTW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to attach and haul utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2" receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. To ensure that CURT class 3 receiver hitches have what it takes for serious trailering, they are designed using a hands-on approach and are constructed with rugged, high-strength steel and precise welding. We also protect our class 3 hitches in a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat and black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage.
CURT custom wiring connectors are the easiest way to outfit your vehicle with a CURT trailer wiring connection. They are built with some of the most advanced technology in the industry, and each one is custom-fitted to work with a specific make and model. Some automotive manufacturers install a special socket on the vehicle to be used for vehicle-to-trailer wiring. Although this special socket is not equipped on every vehicle, a CURT custom wiring connector -- also called a T-connector -- utilizes the socket for simple, stress-free installation. Rather than requiring you to cut, splice and solder into your vehicle's wiring system, the custom wiring connector uses a single OEM-compatible plug and instantly provides a standard, universal vehicle-to-trailer wiring connection, typically in the form a 4-way flat. All CURT custom wiring connectors are made vehicle-specific for the easiest possible installation and the best fit. This particular plug-in connector provides a 4-way flat socket and is designed to be a custom wiring option for certain years of the Honda Odyssey (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see application info). It comes with all necessary hardware to establish a solid connection. It also comes with a dust cover to keep the connector socket clean when not in use. To ensure long-lasting reliability, all CURT custom wiring connectors are thoroughly tested for optimal functionality. Stress is the last thing you should feel when towing a trailer -- whether you're hauling your RV to that favorite camping destination, your ATVs up to the hunting grounds or your fishing boat to the new hidden hotspot. At CURT, we think your towing equipment should add to the enjoyment of your experience, not detract from it.

Absolutely! This kit is specifically engineered for 2018-2024 Honda Odyssey models, so your 2021 will be a perfect fit. You'll get the custom-fit Class 3 hitch with 2" receiver plus the matching 4-flat wiring harness designed for your vehicle's electrical system.
Yes, this kit fits your 2024 Odyssey perfectly since it covers 2018-2024 model years. The Class 3 hitch provides 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight capacity (or 5,000 lbs with weight distribution), while the included 4-flat wiring connects your tail lights, brake lights, and turn signals with a simple plug-in installation.
Installation is straightforward with the included vehicle-specific instructions for both the hitch and wiring components. The wiring features a plug-and-play design that connects to your Odyssey's existing OEM socket, eliminating the need for cutting or splicing wires. All mounting hardware and step-by-step instructions are included in the kit.
Yes, CURT part number 13370 is designed for 2018-present Honda Odyssey vans. The hitch is a weight-carrying receiver hitch with a maximum trailer weight capacity of 3,500 lbs and tongue weight capacity of 525 lbs when used as a weight-carrying hitch, or 5,000 lbs trailer weight and 525 lbs tongue weight when used as a weight distribution hitch. Always verify your vehicle's manufacturer towing capacity before towing.
The tongue weight capacity is 525 lbs for both weight-carrying and weight distribution configurations.
The maximum trailer weight is 3,500 lbs when used as a weight-carrying hitch, or 5,000 lbs when used as a weight distribution hitch. However, you must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity.
The hitch weight is 40 lbs.
No, drilling is not required. The hitch uses existing access holes and weldnuts in the frame rails of the 2018-present Honda Odyssey.
Yes. You must remove the plastic underbody panel covering the driver side frame rail by removing 6 fasteners: 4 plastic push pins, 1 Phillips head screw, and 1 hex bolt (10mm socket). Return these fasteners and the plastic shield to the vehicle owner. You may trim the panel and re-attach it after hitch installation.
Yes, you must temporarily remove the exhaust deflector by removing 2 fasteners. The deflector is removed to allow the hitch to be raised into position by sliding the passenger side plate over the exhaust first. After securing the hitch, reinstall the exhaust deflector.
Required tools are: ratchet, torque wrench, 9-inch extension, safety glasses, sockets (11/16", 10mm, 19mm), straight screwdriver, and Phillips screwdriver.
The hitch includes: 4 M12x1.25x35mm hex head cap screws (part 10-10275), 2 7/16-14 UNC 1-1/2" carriage bolts (part 10-10282), 2 7/16-14 UNC serrated flange nuts (part 20-00103), 4 1/2" conical toothed washers (part 30-00149), 2 0.250 x 0.88 x 2.25" square hole spacers (part CM-SP2), and 2 7/16" fishwires (part 7_16 FISHWIRE).
1. Remove the underbody panel (6 fasteners) and temporarily remove the exhaust deflector (2 fasteners). 2. Reverse fishwire the 2 carriage bolts and CM-SP2 spacers into the existing holes in the frame rails, leaving fishwires attached. 3. Clean the weldnuts near the end of each frame rail of debris and rust. 4. Raise the hitch into position by sliding the passenger side plate over the exhaust first, then secure using M12-1.25 x 35mm bolts, 1/2" conical toothed washers, and 7/16" flange nuts. 5. Torque all 12mm hardware to 86 lb-ft and all 7/16" hardware to 59 lb-ft. Reinstall the exhaust deflector.
Reverse fishwire refers to using the fishwire (a flexible wire tool) to guide the carriage bolts and spacers into the existing access holes in the bottom of the frame rails from underneath the vehicle. The fishwires remain attached to the bolts during this process to help position them correctly before final tightening.
All 12mm hardware (M12-1.25 x 35mm bolts) must be torqued to 86 lb-ft.
All 7/16" hardware (7/16-14 UNC carriage bolts and flange nuts) must be torqued to 59 lb-ft.
Safety glasses must be worn at all times while installing this product. If you are hesitant to undertake this task on your own, contact an authorized CURT installer for additional assistance. Two people may be required to ease installation.
Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The hitch capacity is 3,500 lbs trailer weight and 525 lbs tongue weight for weight-carrying use, or 5,000 lbs trailer weight and 525 lbs tongue weight for weight distribution use, but your vehicle's manufacturer may have a lower limit that must be observed.
Periodically check that all fasteners are tight and that all structural components are sound. This ongoing maintenance is important for safe operation.
The manual instructs you to periodically check the receiver hitch to ensure all fasteners are tight and all structural components are sound, but does not specify an exact interval. Regular inspection before towing is recommended.
Yes, this product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.

Yes, the Curt 56382 is designed for Honda Odyssey vans in the SUVs, Mini & Full-Sized Vans category. Your vehicle must have a factory trailer tow plug located behind the driver side rear fuse panel cover to use this connector.
The Curt 56382 is a custom wiring connector that interfaces with your vehicle's factory trailer tow plug. It includes a converter box, 4-flat connector, fuses, and grounding hardware. The connector allows you to connect a trailer with proper signal and running light circuits.
You will need a flat blade screwdriver, a panel trim removal tool, and a cutting tool. The manual also recommends having a test light or properly wired trailer available to test the connector after installation.
The kit includes a black converter box, a 4-flat connector with dust cover, double-sided tape, a 10-amp fuse for the in-line fuse holder, a 30-amp cartridge fuse, two 7.5-amp mini blade fuses, a white ground wire with ring terminal, a mounting screw for grounding, and cable ties for securing loose wires.
The manual does not specify whether the battery must be disconnected. Contact Curt Manufacturing or your vehicle manufacturer for guidance on this safety step before beginning installation.
The factory trailer tow plug is located behind the driver side rear fuse panel cover, near the rear seat. The manual refers to this location as position S3. You will remove the fuse panel cover to access it.
Insert the custom wiring harness connector into the vehicle factory tow plug connector. Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place. The connectors should fit together similar to how the factory tow plug is designed.
Mount the black converter box to the metal mounting bracket located to the left of the fuse box using the provided double-sided tape. Choose a flat spot inside the vehicle near the fuse panel. The converter box should be positioned so the in-line fuse holder is accessible.
Insert the provided 10-amp fuse into the in-line fuse holder on the converter box. Then, in the rear fuse panel, install the provided 30-amp cartridge fuse in position #12 and two 7.5-amp mini blade fuses in positions #10 and #11.
You may need to drill a grounding point if a suitable existing screw with nut is not available in the vehicle frame near the connector. If drilling is required, use a 3/32" pilot hole. The area must be free of rust, dirt and paint before securing the white ground wire. Always check for hidden items behind or under surfaces before drilling to avoid damage and personal injury.
Signal Circuits are rated at 3.0 amps per side. Tail/Running Circuits are rated at 6.0 amps total. The battery connection must be fuse-protected with a 10-amp maximum fuse. Do not exceed the product rating or the tow vehicle lamp load rating, whichever is lower, as exceeding the rating can cause loss of warranty, overheating and potential fire.
Route the 4-flat behind the side trim panel and out from underneath the vehicle. When in use, route the 4-flat to the center of the vehicle and out the trunk. When not in use, roll it up and store in a convenient, out-of-the-way location inside the trunk. Secure any loose wires with the provided cable ties.
Test for proper function by using a test light or connecting a properly wired trailer. All steps must be followed to ensure the wiring connector will function properly before testing.
Install the provided 4-flat dust cover to help prevent corrosion when the connector is not in use.
You must remove the rear scuff panel (secured by two cargo hooks), the driver side trim panel (secured by one cargo hook), and the fuse panel cover near the rear seat on the driver side. Take care not to damage the alignment tabs when removing these panels.
Yes, the Curt 56382 is designed for Honda Odyssey vans. Your vehicle must have a factory trailer tow plug behind the driver side rear fuse panel.
Drilling may be required only if a suitable existing screw with nut is not available for the ground wire. If drilling is needed, use a 3/32" pilot hole. Always check for hidden items before drilling.
The battery connection must be fuse-protected with a 10-amp maximum fuse. Do not exceed this rating or the tow vehicle lamp load rating, whichever is lower, as it can cause overheating and potential fire.
Install a 30-amp cartridge fuse in position #12 and two 7.5-amp mini blade fuses in positions #10 and #11 in the rear fuse panel. A 10-amp fuse goes in the in-line fuse holder on the converter box.
