This class 1 trailer hitch and ball mount combination is designed for a custom fit on select years of the Lexus GS300, GS350, GS430, IS250 and IS350 (see application info to verify fitment). The hitch integrates with the vehicle's frame and provides a useful and dependable 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver. The receiver is perfect for attaching the included ball mount and towing a small trailer, or for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, bike rack or other accessory. This particular class 1 hitch is rated for 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 200 pounds tongue weight (never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). The ball mount included with this trailer hitch quickly and easily installs into the hitch receiver and has a 3/4" trailer ball hole (trailer ball not included). It can be mounted in the rise or drop position to promote level towing. Like all CURT custom hitches, this class 1 hitch is protected with our co-cured finishing process. It is descaled for a smooth surface, immersed in liquid A-coat for rust resistance inside and out, covered with a durable black powder coat and finally co-cured for an industry-leading rust, chip and UV-resistant shield. No matter where you're headed or which season of the year you’re towing in, this CURT hitch is equipped for long-lasting resilience to the elements. It features an open-back receiver for easy cleaning, and it comes with all the hardware necessary for the installation.

Yes. The exhaust must be lowered by removing the two rearmost rubber isolators from the hanger bracket on each muffler. The exhaust hanger brackets are then removed and later reinstalled to sandwich the hitch between the frame rails and brackets.
Heat shields must be removed and trimmed to clear the hitch side plates if needed. The trim area is approximately 3.5 inches. On the GS350, the lower rear edge of the heat shields must be bent away from the side plates after reinstallation.
All M12 hardware must be torqued to 79 ft-lbs.
Do not exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. Non-trailer loads applied to this hitch must be supported by auxiliary stabilizing straps, or the warranty will be voided.
Periodically check the receiver hitch to ensure that all fasteners are tight and that all structural components are sound.
Curt hitch 11372 is designed for use with ballmount #55001 or #45501. These are the compatible ballmounts for this receiver hitch.
Remove the two rearmost rubber isolators from the hanger bracket on each muffler. This allows the exhaust to hang down and provides clearance for hitch installation. The isolators are reinstalled in Step 7 after the hitch is secured.
The six hex flange bolts securing the exhaust hanger brackets are removed in Step 2 and saved. In Step 5, the hitch is raised into position against the frame rails, and the exhaust hanger brackets are reinstalled using the same six bolts. The hitch is sandwiched between the frame rails and the exhaust hanger brackets. All M12 hardware is then torqued to 79 ft-lbs.
1. Lower the exhaust by removing the two rearmost rubber isolators from each muffler hanger bracket. 2. Remove the six hex flange bolts securing the exhaust hanger brackets and remove the brackets; save the bolts and brackets. 3. Remove the four nuts securing each heat shield and remove the heat shields; trim them to clear the hitch side plates if needed. 4. Reinstall the heat shields with the nuts removed in Step 3. 5. Raise the hitch into position against the frame rails and reinstall the exhaust hanger brackets using the six hex flange bolts removed in Step 2. 6. Torque all M12 hardware to 79 ft-lbs. 7. Raise the exhaust and reinstall the four rubber isolators.
The heat shields must be trimmed to clear the hitch side plates. The trim area is approximately 3.5 inches, as shown in the Heat Shield Trimming Diagram. Trimming is only required if the heat shields interfere with the hitch side plates. Use tin snips to trim the heat shields.
Yes. On the GS350, after reinstalling the heat shields, bend the lower rear edge of the heat shields away from the side plates. This modification is specific to the GS350 model.

If the product is found to be defective, Curt may repair or replace it at their option when returned prepaid with proof of purchase. Warranty is voided by alteration, misuse, or improper installation. Non-trailer loads must be supported by auxiliary stabilizing straps, or warranty is voided. Curt's liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective products and excludes liability for incidental or consequential loss or damage.
