Using pull wire, feed the carriage bolt and spacer into the frame rails and bracket holes from the end panel opening. Kink the pull wire to keep the spacer independent of the bolt. Remove pull wires and loosely install the conical washer (teeth side against hitch) and hex nut to the hitch. Do not fully tighten until all fasteners are in place.

Route the black wire to the rear driver's side and connect to the black power wire on the T-Connector black box. 9. Reconnect the negative battery cable and install the 15 amp fuse. 10. Mount the black box on the driver's side with double-sided tape and secure the harness with cable ties. 11. Reinstall the taillight housings. 12. Mount the 4-flat connector in an accessible location.
Open the tailgate and locate the two clips holding each taillight assembly in place. Remove both clips, then carefully pry the housing away from the vehicle, being careful not to break the alignment tabs. Repeat for both the right and left side taillight assemblies.

Locate a suitable grounding point on the driver's side near the taillight connectors. Drill a 3/32" hole at this location. Secure the white ground wire to this hole using the eyelet and screw provided.
