The driver-side panel is secured with five plastic push fasteners and one plastic nut (removed with a 10mm socket and extension), plus three retained nuts that must be loosened while pulling down the panel. Repeat the same process on the passenger-side panel.

Pull hardware through hitch, remove fishwires, and secure with serrated-flange nuts. Torque to 90 ft-lbs. 8. Reinstall removed parts in reverse order.
