Each custom-fit class 3 hitch package is made for vehicle-specific mounting. This particular kit fits certain years of the Honda Odyssey (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 350 lbs. TW. It is also compatible with a weight distribution hitch for level towing and a rating of 5,000 lbs. WD and 500 lbs. WDTW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to attach and haul utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2" receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. To ensure that CURT class 3 receiver hitches have what it takes for serious trailering, they are designed using a hands-on approach and are constructed with rugged, high-strength steel and precise welding. We also protect our class 3 hitches in a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat and black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage.
CURT custom wiring connectors are the easiest way to outfit your vehicle with a CURT trailer wiring connection. They are built with some of the most advanced technology in the industry, and each one is custom-fitted to work with a specific make and model. Some automotive manufacturers install a special socket on the vehicle to be used for vehicle-to-trailer wiring. Although this special socket is not equipped on every vehicle, a CURT custom wiring connector -- also called a T-connector -- utilizes the socket for simple, stress-free installation. Rather than requiring you to cut, splice and solder into your vehicle's wiring system, the custom wiring connector uses a single OEM-compatible plug and instantly provides a standard, universal vehicle-to-trailer wiring connection, typically in the form a 4-way flat. All CURT custom wiring connectors are made vehicle-specific for the easiest possible installation and the best fit. This particular plug-in connector provides a 4-way flat socket and is designed to be a custom wiring option for certain years of the Honda Accord, CRV, Element, Odyssey, Pilot and Prelude, Acura Integra, CL, RL, TL and MDX and Isuzu Oasis (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see application info). It comes with all necessary hardware to establish a solid connection. It also comes with a dust cover to keep the connector socket clean when not in use. Gross trailer weight (GTW) capacity is 3,500 lbs. Tongue weight (TW) capacity is 350 lbs. With weight distribution, the WD capacity is 5,000 lbs. and WD tongue weight (WDTW) is 500 lbs.

The kit includes: 4× M12-1.25 × 35mm hex bolts (CL10.9), 4× 1/2" conical-toothed washers, 1× 7/16"-14 serrated-flange nut, 1× 1/4" × 7/8" × 2-1/4" square-hole spacer, 1× 7/16"-14 × 1-1/2" carriage bolt (grade 8), and 1× 7/16" fishwire tool.
Yes. Remove five fasteners and the plastic fascia covering from the driver-side frame rail before installation. Return the fasteners and plastic shield to the vehicle owner. You may trim the fascia and re-attach it after hitch installation if desired.
Locate the two weldnuts near the end of each frame rail. Spray lubricant or compressed air into the holes to remove debris. For heavy debris, use a wire brush. Take care not to damage the threads.
Insert the coiled end of the fishwire tool through the hitch mounting hole in the vehicle frame rail and out the access hole. Pass the coiled end through the square-hole spacer and thread the carriage bolt into the coil. Kink the wire to keep the spacer separate from the bolt. Pull the fishwire, spacer, and bolt through the frame and out the mounting hole. Use the fishwire to guide the hitch during mounting and prevent loss of the bolt or spacer inside the frame rail.
1. Remove the plastic fascia and five fasteners from the driver-side frame rail. 2. Clean the weldnuts on both frame rails. 3. Raise the hitch into position by sliding the passenger side-plate over the exhaust first. 4. Secure with M12-1.25 × 35mm bolts and 1/2" conical-toothed washers. 5. Use fishwire to install the 7/16"-14 × 1-1/2" carriage bolt and square-hole spacer through the driver-side frame rail access hole, securing with the 7/16" serrated-flange nut. 6. Torque all fasteners.

The 55336 is a custom wiring connector that interfaces with your vehicle's taillight wiring system. It converts the vehicle's taillight connector to a 4-flat plug for trailer lighting compatibility.
You will need a panel trim removal tool, Phillips screwdriver, and flat blade screwdriver. These are standard hand tools; no power tools or lifting equipment are required.
Yes. You must disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning installation. Reconnect it only after all installation steps are complete and all items removed during installation have been reinstalled.
On Honda Accord and other passenger cars (Acura CL, Integra, RL, TL), the connector is located behind the driver side taillight housing, inside the trunk. Open the trunk and remove the plastic screw securing the trunk liner on the passenger side, then pull back the felt liner to locate the connector.
On 95–98 Honda Odyssey models, the connector is located behind the driver side taillight. Remove the rear access panel located inside the van to access it.
On 99–04 Honda Odyssey models, open the vehicle trunk and remove the driver side cargo bracket screw. Pull back the trim panel to locate the vehicle wiring connector.
On 97–01 Honda CR-V models, remove the three screws securing the rear driver side speaker and cover. Remove the speaker and cover to locate the vehicle wiring connector, which will be secured to the speaker wires.
On 02–06 Honda CR-V models, open the trunk and remove the cargo door on the floor. Remove the storage container, rear threshold, and driver side cargo bracket screw. Remove the cargo screw on the driver side trim panel and the cargo bracket bolt from the vehicle floor. Carefully pry the trim panel away to reveal the wiring connector taped to wires near the vehicle floor.
On Acura MDX models, open the trunk and remove the cargo door on the floor. Remove the head rests from the storage location. Locate and remove two clips inside the storage area on the threshold. Carefully pry the threshold to remove it. The vehicle wiring connector will be located inside the cargo area on the driver side, attached to the threshold plate. Remove the connector from its protective cap.
On Honda Pilot models, open the trunk and carefully pry the driver side threshold to locate the vehicle wiring connector.
On Honda Element models, open the trunk and remove the cargo door on the floor. Remove the screws holding the spring loaded hinge cover and set it aside. Carefully remove the three plastic clips holding the passenger side trim panel to the floor. Remove the five screws holding the passenger side trim panel in place. Remove the cargo net bracket and carefully pull back the trim panel, being careful not to break any tabs or clips. The connector is located in this area.
First, untape the vehicle connectors carefully, taking care not to damage the locking tabs. Inspect the connector for dirt and debris and clean if necessary. Then insert the custom wiring connector into the vehicle connector. Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with the locking tabs in place.
Locate a flat spot inside the vehicle near the taillight. Adhere the black converter box using the provided double-sided tape.
Yes. On Honda CR-V models only, route the custom wiring connector 4-flat plug out from under the trim panel and along the carpet edge.
Reinstall all items you removed during installation. Reconnect the negative battery terminal. Install the provided 4-flat dust cover to help prevent corrosion.
The 55336 is rated for 3.0 amps per side on signal circuits and 5.0 amps total on tail and running circuits. Do not exceed the product rating or the tow vehicle lamp load rating, whichever is lower. Exceeding the product rating can cause loss of warranty, overheating and potential fire.
