It begins with a one-piece frame of 1/4" thick welded plates and 1-1/2" mandrel-bent tubing for a solid build. Each one is made with a vehicle-specific design for a better fit, easier install and more secure mounting. The side brush guards are custom-bent to contour to the profile of your vehicle, while the mounting brackets are positioned for a no-drill application. This means pre-existing factory holes are used to ensure optimum fitment and less vibration. This particular custom grille guard fits specific years of the Jeep Grand Cherokee (see application info to verify). The ARIES grille guard also makes it easy to customize the look of your vehicle. Not only does the crossbar have two pre-drilled holes for mounting aftermarket LED lights, but many of our grille guards are also available in two finish options -- polished stainless steel or semi-gloss black steel. The stainless steel grille guard is made with 304 stainless, being high in nickel content and truly resistant to rust and corrosion. This option comes with a mirror-like polished finish for a definitive shine. The semi-gloss black grille guard is made with high-strength carbon steel for added strength. You must remove the factory grille shell by first removing six plastic fasteners across the top of the grille, then slowly pulling the grille shell toward the front of the vehicle until the bottom clips disengage. The grille shell is then repositioned after the top brackets are loosely attached.
Yes. The driver side rubber shroud requires cutting. After marking the width and thickness of the top bracket on the rubber shroud at the bend location, use a cardboard knife to cut out the marked area so the top bracket can be inserted through the gap and attached to the factory bolt location.

1. Insert 10mm double nut plates into factory holes in the radiator support (driver and passenger sides). 2. Loosely hang mounting brackets using 10mm x 35mm hex bolts. 3. Reposition factory grille shell with bottom clips engaged. 7. Position grille guard on mounting brackets. 8. Attach grille guard to mounting brackets using 12mm fasteners and to top brackets using 10mm button bolts. 9. Adjust grille guard and tighten all hardware.

On the driver side, pull the rubber shroud to the side, remove the bottom factory bolt, mark the shroud width and thickness at the bracket bend, cut the marked area with a cardboard knife, insert the bracket through the gap, and attach using the factory bolt.
