ARIES nerf bars are all made vehicle-specific for a custom, no-drill fit, and they are available in multiple finish options. This set of nerf bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a polished finish. Our 304 stainless steel is a true stainless with high nickel content, offering better corrosion resistance and a long-lasting finish. The polish is a triple application, resulting in a mirror-like shine to complement your vehicle. ARIES 3" round side bars also come with high-strength steel brackets and non-skid step pads. The mounting brackets -- as well as the side bars and step pads -- are custom-designed for specific makes and models to allow the nerf bars to contour to the lines of your vehicle. This ensures easy, no-drill installation and the strength necessary to provide solid footing. This particular set of custom nerf bars fits specific years of the Ford Ranger (see application info to verify fitment). ARIES 3" round side bars also come with non-skid step pads made of polypropylene. These wide, custom-positioned step pads feature a textured pattern and cover a wide portion of the tubes to be more comfortable and high-traction, even in wet conditions.

1. Read and understand all instructions. 2. Identify driver and passenger sidebars. 3. Locate and remove the patch covering the factory bolt on the floor inside the cab in front of the driver's seat. Replace the factory bolt with the M12 × 100mm hex head bolt, secure with ½" flat and lock washers and M12 hex nut, and leave loose. 4. Place the rear auxiliary mounting bracket between the chassis rail and rear mounting support. Secure the rear mounting bracket to the auxiliary bracket using ½" flat and lock washers and hex nuts, and leave loose. 5. Position the sidebar against the mounting brackets and bolt using ½" × 1½" hex head bolts, flat and lock washers, and leave loose. 6. Make final alignment adjustments and tighten all bolts. 7. Repeat for the opposite side.
Leaving bolts loose during the initial assembly steps allows you to make final alignment adjustments to the sidebar before final tightening. Once alignment is correct, you tighten all bolts in Step 6.
