ARIES 3" side bars add a custom look and dependable footing to your truck, Jeep or SUV. They feature a classic style, a strong design and non-skid step pads. ARIES nerf bars are all made vehicle-specific for a custom, no-drill fit, and they are available in multiple finish options. This set of nerf bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a polished finish. Our 304 stainless steel is a true stainless with high nickel content, offering better corrosion resistance and a long-lasting finish. The polish is a triple application, resulting in a mirror-like shine to complement your vehicle. ARIES 3" round side bars also come with high-strength steel brackets and non-skid step pads. The mounting brackets -- as well as the side bars and step pads -- are custom-designed for specific makes and models to allow the nerf bars to contour to the lines of your vehicle. This ensures easy, no-drill installation and the strength necessary to provide solid footing. This particular set of custom nerf bars fits specific years of the Ford Ranger SuperCrew (see application info to verify fitment). ARIES 3" round side bars also come with non-skid step pads made of polypropylene. These wide, custom-positioned step pads feature a textured pattern and cover a wide portion of the tubes to be more comfortable and high-traction, even in wet conditions.

The kit includes 1 driver/left sidebar, 1 passenger/right sidebar, 2 front mounting brackets, 4 center/rear mounting brackets, 12 hex bolts (10-1.5mm x 25mm), 12 lock washers (10mm), 12 flat washers (10mm x 27mm x 3mm), and 12 combo bolts (8-1.25mm x 25mm).

You will need a ratchet, wrench set, socket set, level, and torque wrench. Proper tools will improve installation quality and reduce installation time.
Yes. When starting installation on the passenger/right side, locate the threaded mounting holes on the rocker panel and remove the plastic plugs covering them before attaching the front mounting bracket.
No. Do not tighten hardware when first attaching the front mounting bracket, center mounting bracket, rear mounting bracket, or sidebar to the brackets. Tighten all hardware only after the sidebar has been leveled and adjusted in Step 6.
Starting from underneath the passenger/right side inner rocker panel, locate the threaded mounting holes. Remove the plastic plugs. Select the passenger/right front mounting bracket and attach it with 2 × 10mm hex bolts, 2 × 10mm lock washers, and 2 × 10mm flat washers. Do not tighten at this time. Repeat this process for the driver/left side.
Locate the center threaded mounting holes and select one center/rear mounting bracket. Attach it with 2 × 10mm hex bolts, 2 × 10mm lock washers, and 2 × 10mm flat washers. Do not tighten. Repeat this process for the rear mounting bracket. Then repeat the entire process for the driver/left side.
Unwrap the sidebar and attach it to the mounting brackets using 6 × 8mm combo bolts. Do not tighten hardware at this time. Important: do not slide or rotate the sidebar on the cradles, as this may damage the finish.
Level and adjust the sidebar, then tighten all hardware. Repeat the entire installation process for the driver/left side.
The torque specification for 10mm bolts is 16 ft-lbs.
The torque specification for 8mm bolts is 7 ft-lbs.
Wax the sidebar after installation. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax containing abrasives, as these may damage the finish. For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes, polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs. Mild automotive detergent may be used to clean the sidebar. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or similar products that may damage the finish.
Perform periodic inspections to ensure that all hardware is secure and tight.
For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes, polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs on the finish. However, do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives, as these could damage the finish. For stainless steel, aluminum polish may be used.
Mild automotive detergent or mild soap may be used to clean the sidebar. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or other similar products that may damage the finish.
