ARIES 4" oval side bars are sleek, strong and custom-fitted to be a highly functional extension of your truck. For a variety of makes and models, 4" oval sides are a step up. ARIES 4" oval side bars are made with strong 4" elliptical tubing and are available in two different finish options to allow you full customization: polished stainless steel and black powder coat carbon steel. This set of side bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel, meaning high nickel content to be truly stainless. They easily resist rust and corrosion and feature a highly polished finish that is made to last. Something that sets the ARIES 4" oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end caps and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4" oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene construct ion will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. Installation of ARIES 4" oval side bars is quick and easy with custom-fitted mounting brackets and no drilling necessary.

You will need a ratchet, a 16mm socket, and a level. These are the only tools listed as required for installation.
No. The installation uses existing threaded holes on the inside of the body panels. You only need to remove the rubber plugs from these holes.
M10 bolts should be torqued to 16 ft-lbs. This applies to both the M10 x 30mm bolts securing the side bar to brackets and the M10 x 25mm bolts securing brackets to the body panel.
Snug all hardware first without fully tightening. After the side bar is leveled and aligned, tighten all brackets to the vehicle first, then tighten the side bar connections. This staged approach ensures proper alignment.
Periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight. Clean the product with mild automotive detergent only; do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, or wire brushes.

Yes. The installation begins by locating threaded holes on the inside of the body panel and removing the rubber plugs from these holes. This is done at the front driver side, middle, and rear mounting locations on each side of the vehicle.
1. Remove rubber plugs from threaded holes at front driver side location. 2. Attach front mounting bracket using two M10 x 25mm bolts with lock and large washers. 3. Repeat for middle and rear locations with universal brackets, snugging but not fully tightening. 4. Place side bar on brackets and align mounting points. 5. Secure side bar to brackets using M10 x 30mm bolts with lock and small washers, snugging only. 6. Adjust and level the side bar. 7. Tighten all brackets to vehicle first, then side bar connections. 8. Repeat for passenger side.
If the holes on the side bar do not match up with the brackets, ensure all brackets have been installed in the correct locations and that the correct side bar is being used. The driver/left side bar and passenger/right side bar are different and must be installed on their respective sides.
Front mounting brackets are attached using two M10 x 25mm hex bolts with a lock washer and large outside diameter flat washer each. Universal mounting brackets (middle and rear) are also attached using two M10 x 25mm hex bolts with a lock washer and large outside diameter flat washer each.
