The ARIES 3" bull bar is made for those who face the uncertain road without fear. This particular model is constructed from 304 stainless steel. 304 stainless is high in nickel content, allowing the bull bar to easily resist water, road salt and rust and maintain its mirror-like polished finish in spite of the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, textured black steel and s emi-gloss black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Freightliner or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 and 3500 (see application info to verify fitment).

The kit includes one 3" bull bar, driver and passenger mounting brackets, four M8 hex head cap screws (two M8 x 30mm and two M8 x 40mm), four M8 lock washers, four M8 flat washers, four M10 flat washers, four M10 flange nuts, and four M10 hex head cap screws.
You will need a torque wrench, ratchet, socket set, and box wrench. The installation is rated as Easy difficulty.
Yes. After removing the factory license plate bracket, you must cut two 2.5" notches out of the top edge of the plastic, beginning 2" from each side. These notches allow the bracket to lay flat in the factory position.
The M8 mounting bolts are torqued to 19 ft-lbs during bracket installation. The M10 bull bar fasteners are torqued to 25 ft-lbs. These are the final torque values for this installation.
Wax the product after installation and regularly thereafter to add a protective layer. Use only mild automotive detergent for cleaning. Do not use polish or wax containing abrasives, dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, or wire brushes. Perform periodic inspections to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight.
The ARIES 35-8000 is a 3" bull bar designed to mount to the front of a vehicle. It comes with driver and passenger mounting brackets and all necessary hardware for installation.
Remove the factory license plate bracket. Once removed, remove the two M8 bolts and the two M8 torx bolts in the cutout above the license plate bracket.
Insert one M8 x 40mm hex head cap screw with lock washer and flat washer in both top holes. Insert one M8 x 30mm hex head cap screw with lock washer and flat washer in both forward-facing holes. With all fasteners in place, torque to 19 ft-lbs. Repeat the same procedure for the passenger-side bracket.
Install the bull bar using the provided M10 hex head cap screws, flat washers, and flange nuts. Place the bolt and washer on the outside while the flange nut fastens from the inside. Once all fasteners are in place, position the bull bar and torque the fasteners to 25 ft-lbs.
Cut two 2.5" notches out of the top edge of the plastic license plate bracket. Begin 2" from each side. These notches allow the license plate bracket to lay flat in the factory position after the bull bar is installed.
M8 bolts are torqued to 7 ft-lbs according to the general torque specification table. However, the mounting brackets for the ARIES 35-8000 specifically are torqued to 19 ft-lbs, which overrides the general specification.
M10 bolts are torqued to 16 ft-lbs according to the general torque specification table. However, the bull bar fasteners for the ARIES 35-8000 specifically are torqued to 25 ft-lbs, which overrides the general specification.
Use only mild automotive detergent to clean the product. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes, or other similar products that may damage the finish.
Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives, as these could damage the finish. However, for polished, gloss, and other smooth finishes, polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs on the finish.
Periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight. The manual does not specify an exact interval, but regular checks are recommended to maintain safety and prevent loosening of fasteners.
