ARIES 4" oval side bars are sleek, strong and custom-fitted to be a highly functional extension of your truck. ARIES 4" oval side bars are made with strong 4" elliptical tubing and are available in two different finish options to allow you full customization: polished stainless steel and black powder coat carbon steel. This set of side bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel, meaning high nickel content to be truly stainless. They easily resist rust and corrosion and feature a highly polished finish that is made to last. Something that sets the ARIES 4" oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end caps and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4" oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene construction will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. To add an extra element of class to our oval sides, we also fit each one with a stainless steel insignia bearing the ARIES name. Installation of ARIES 4" oval side bars is quick and easy with custom-fitted mounting brackets and no drilling necessary. These nerf bars fit select model years of the Ford F-150 and Lincoln Mark LT (see application info to verify fitment).

The kit includes 2 side bars (driver and passenger), 6 mounting brackets (3 per side for front and rear locations), 24 M10 hex bolts (35mm), 8 M10 hex nuts, 24 M10 flat washers (30mm OD), 8 M10 flat washers (22mm OD), 24 M10 lock washers, and 8 M10 clip nuts.
No drilling is required. The installation uses existing factory mounting holes on the rocker panel covered by factory tape or plugs, which are removed during installation.
Required tools are: ratchet, torque wrench, tape measure, 17mm wrench, 17mm socket, and level. A torque wrench is essential to properly tighten all hardware to specification.
M10 bolts must be torqued to 16 ft.-lbs. unless otherwise noted in the instructions.
No. After attaching the brackets with M10 hex bolts, lock washers, and 30mm OD flat washers, snug the hardware but do not fully tighten. Final tightening occurs after the side bars are installed and leveled.

Yes. Before mounting the brackets, remove the factory tape or plug covering the mounting holes on the inner rocker panel. This exposes the mounting points where the clip nuts and bolts will be installed.
The mounting brackets are specific to front or rear locations. When mounting, position the cradle facing toward the middle of the truck for proper placement.
Two mounting points per side are used: the front and rear mounting locations on the rocker panel. Although three mounting locations exist along the body, only the front and rear are utilized for this installation.
Each bracket is secured with one M10 hex bolt (35mm), one M10 lock washer, and one M10 flat washer (30mm OD x 1.5mm). The bolt threads into an M10 clip nut inserted into the rocker panel mounting hole.
The side bar is attached with M10 hex bolts, M10 lock washers, and M10 flat washers (22mm OD x 2mm). These fasteners thread into the bracket mounting tabs.
Yes. After lifting the side bar into place and attaching it with hardware, check for level using a level tool. Adjust if necessary before fully tightening all hardware.
