ARIES 4" oval side bars are sleek, strong and custom-fitted to be a highly functional extension of your truck. ARIES 4" oval side bars are made with strong 4" elliptical tubing and are available in two different finish options to allow you full customization: polished stainless steel and black powder coat carbon steel. This set of side bars is constructed from high-strength carbon steel for a solid step, and they feature a dual-layer E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish for excellent protection against scratching, chipping and peeling. Something that sets the ARIES 4" oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end cap s and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4" oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene construction will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. To add an extra element of class to our oval sides, we also fit each one with a stainless steel insignia bearing the ARIES name. Installation of ARIES 4" oval side bars is quick and easy with custom-fitted mounting brackets and no drilling necessary. These nerf bars fit select model years of the Ford F-150, F-150 Lightning, F-250 Super Duty, F-350 Super Duty, F-450 Super Duty and F-550 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment).

The kit includes: 1 driver/left side bar, 1 passenger/right side bar, 6 universal mounting brackets, 18 M8 flat washers, 18 M8 nylon flat washers, 18 M8 x 1.25 CL8.8 nylock nuts, 12 10mm flat washers, 12 10mm lock washers, and 12 10mm hex bolts.
You will need a ratchet, 13mm socket, 16mm socket, and a level. The 13mm socket is used to snug and tighten the M8 hardware on the mounting brackets. A level is recommended to check alignment before final tightening.
Yes. The six mounting brackets are universal and will fit on both the driver and passenger sides.
The vehicle must have three 8mm studs in each rocker panel (driver and passenger sides) to secure the mounting brackets. These studs are located on the inside of the rocker panel at three mounting locations per side.
Nylon washers must be installed first over the factory bolts to prevent a corrosion effect that can occur between the aluminum body and the steel bracket. This protects the vehicle and extends the product life.
The correct order is: 1) nylon washer over the factory bolt, 2) mounting bracket, 3) M8 flat washer, 4) M8 x 1.25 nylock nut. Snug with a 13mm socket but do not fully tighten until all hardware is installed and alignment is checked.
Place the side bar onto the brackets, ensuring the rivet nuts on the bottom of the side bar line up with the brackets. Attach using the supplied 10mm hex bolts, lock washers, and flat washers. Snug the hardware but do not fully tighten until alignment is checked.
Tighten in stages. First snug all hardware without fully tightening. Then tighten all vehicle connections (rocker panel brackets) first, followed by the side bar connections. Check for level and adjust if necessary before final tightening.
