ARIES 4" oval side bars are sleek, strong and custom-fitted to be a highly functional extension of your truck. ARIES 4" oval side bars are made with strong 4" elliptical tubing and are available in two different finish options to allow for full customization: polished stainless steel and black powder coat carbon steel. This set of side bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel, meaning high nickel content to be truly stainless. They easily resist rust and corrosion and feature a highly polished finish that is made to last. Something that sets the ARIES 4" oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end caps and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4" oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene con struction will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. Installation of ARIES 4" oval side bars is quick and easy with custom-fitted mounting brackets and no drilling necessary. These nerf bars fit select model years of the Ram 1500, 1500 Classic, 2500 or 3500 and Dodge Ram 1500, Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 (see application info to verify fitment).

The kit includes 1 driver-side bar, 1 passenger-side bar, 2 front mounting brackets, 2 rear mounting brackets, 8 × 8mm hex bolts with flat and lock washers, 12 × 10mm hex bolts with flat and lock washers, 4 × 12mm bolts with 10mm nut plates, 4 × 12mm flat washers, 4 × 12mm lock washers, 4 × 12mm hex nuts, and 4 plastic 12mm bolt retainers.

Secure the front bracket to the vehicle, then the rear bracket using the same process. Attach the side bar to the brackets, adjust and level it, then tighten all hardware. Repeat the entire process on the driver side.

If your vehicle is not equipped with 8mm threaded inserts, align the 10mm nut on the 12mm bolt plate with either hole location on the bracket. Secure using a 10mm hex bolt, lock washer and flat washer instead of the 8mm bolts.
The plastic 12mm bolt retainer is slid over the thread of the 12mm bolt after it is inserted into the mounting point opening. It holds the bolt in place during the installation process.
