Connect to your lifestyle with a custom hitch receiver from CURT. All of our custom hitches are designed for a vehicle-specific fit, manufactured with pride, finished for industry-leading rust resistance and tested to rigorous SAE J684 standards for safety. This class 1 trailer hitch and ball mount combination is designed for a custom fit on select years of the Cadillac ATS (see application info to verify fitment). The hitch integrates with the vehicle's frame and provides a useful and dependable 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver. The receiver is perfect for attaching the included ball mount and towing a small trailer, or for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, bike rack or other accessory. This particular class 1 hitch is rated for 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 200 pounds tongue weight (never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). The ball mount included with this trailer hitch quickly and easily installs into the hitch receiver and has a 3/4" trailer ball hole (trailer ball not included). It can be mounted in the rise or drop position to promote level towing. Like all CURT custom hitches, this class 1 hitch is protected with our co-cured finishing process. It is descaled for a smooth surface, immersed in liquid A-coat for rust resistance inside and out, covered with a durable black powder coat and finally co-cured for an industry-leading rust, chip and UV-resistant shield. No matter where you're headed or which season of the year you?re towing in, this CURT hitch is equipped for long-lasting resilience to the elements. It features an open-back receiver for easy cleaning, and it comes with all the hardware necessary for the installation.

Yes, the CURT 113113 Class 1 Trailer Hitch with Ball Mount, 1-1/4-In Receiver, Fits Select Cadillac ATS (Part #BKDK113113) is designed to fit the 2013-2019 Cadillac ATS.
The CURT 113113 Class 1 Trailer Hitch with Ball Mount, 1-1/4-In Receiver, Fits Select Cadillac ATS (Part #BKDK113113) Drilling is not required for installation. Typical installation time is 30-60 minutes. Basic hand tools are typically all you need.
Yes, Curt part number 11311 is designed for 2013-Present Cadillac ATS in both Sedan and Coupe body styles. The installation process differs slightly between Sedan and Coupe models: Coupe models require removal of 3 rubber exhaust hangers (instead of 4 on Sedans) and use a 7mm socket to remove the 14 plastic fascia screws.
The Curt 11311 is rated for a maximum of 2,000 lbs trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight when used as a weight-carrying hitch. However, you must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity, which may be lower than these ratings.
The Curt 11311 is designed for use with Curt ballmount #45022 (D-230). Optional Euro mount versions are available: #45571 (1 7/8" ball) and #45572 (2" ball).
Yes, lowering the exhaust is required. You must remove 2 bolts on each side from the vehicle frame rails that secure the exhaust hanger brackets, remove the brackets from the muffler hanger pegs, and then remove the rubber exhaust hangers (4 places on Sedans, 3 places on Coupes). You may also need to remove the exhaust support strap to allow the exhaust to hang lower.
No, drilling is not required. The hitch uses existing holes in the vehicle frame. However, plastic fascia and heat shield trimming are required.
Two areas require trimming: (1) Heat shield: trim to allow access to both frame rails; (2) Vehicle fascia: trim approximately 1-3/8" on each side to allow for hitch side plate reinstallation. The heat shield stud on each frame rail must also be cut off. Use a cut-off wheel for these modifications.
Required tools include: T-15 Torx bit socket, ratchet, socket set (7mm, 10mm, 13mm, 15mm, 3/4"), pry bar, spray lubricant, cut-off wheel, tape measure, marker, aviation shears, and torque wrench. Safety glasses must be worn at all times during installation.
The hitch includes: 4 carriage bolts (1/2-13 x 1 1/2), 4 hex flange nuts (HFN 1213), 4 square hole spacers (.250 x 1.00 x 3.00", part CM-SP6), and 4 pieces of 1/2" x 30" fishwire.
Fishwire is used to route the 1/2" carriage bolts and spacer blocks up through slots in the vehicle frame and down through attaching holes in the hitch side plates (2 places on each side). The fishwire helps guide the bolts through the frame before the hitch is raised into position.
All 1/2" hardware (carriage bolts and flange hex nuts) must be torqued to 110 lb-ft.
Two people may be required to ease installation. The manual notes that using proper tools will greatly improve the quality of the install and reduce the time required.
Professional installation time is approximately 60 minutes. Novice (DIY) installation time is approximately 120 minutes.
Safety glasses must be worn at all times while installing this product. If you are hesitant to undertake this task on your own, contact an authorized Curt installer for additional assistance. Call Curt Technical Support at 800-798-0813 if you have questions.
