CURT Jeep roof rack crossbars make your Wrangler JL or Gladiator ready for any adventure. They quickly clamp onto the roof and create an entirely new storage space for a wide variety of cargo. The unique feature of these cargo brackets is their quick-release clamps. The ends of each bracket are equipped with a gutter clamp that securely mounts onto the roof gutters whenever needed. The brackets can then be loaded with a cargo carrier, basket, kayak racks or other items. The clamps are constructed from powder-coated steel for maximum strength, and they help keep your cargo fully secure no matter where the trail takes you. When the adventure ends, the brackets can easily be removed by simply pulling clamp latches. CURT Jeep roof rack crossbars also have a fully slotted channel. The slots can accept bolts or hardware from a roof rack cargo carrier or any number of straps, ropes or bungees. With multiple slots spanning the length of the bracket, straps can also easily be adjusted. CURT Jeep roof rack crossbars are rated for a maximum capacity of 150 lbs. They come with all necessary hardware and require no drilling or vehicle modification for installation. They are designed to fit the Jeep Wrangler JL or Jeep Gladiator (compatible with hardtop only). Two brackets are included per package.

The kit includes: 2 cross tubing pieces, 4 bottom flange brackets, 4 locking brackets, 4 cover brackets, 4 M10 cam lock handles, 4 M10 flat washers, 4 M12 button head cap screws, 4 M12 flat washers, 4 M12 lock washers, 4 60mm 3M tape strips, and 4 70mm 3M tape strips.
You need an M8 Allen wrench. This is the only tool listed as required in the manual.
Clean off the Jeep's hard top before placing the cross tubing on it. The manual does not specify the cleaning method, but recommends mild automotive detergent for general maintenance of the product.
1. Clean the hard top and place cross tubing on it. 2. For each of four attachment points: slide a bottom flange bracket and cover bracket together, apply one 60mm and one 70mm 3M tape strip to the flanges, attach to the hard top with an M10 cam lock handle and M10 flat washer, and snug (do not fully tighten). 3. Align the cross tubing with the brackets and attach each with an M12 button head cap screw, lock washer, flat washer, and locking bracket; snug but do not fully tighten. 4. Once all brackets are snug, fully tighten all hardware with an M8 Allen wrench. 5. Install cargo basket per basket manufacturer's instructions and adjust brackets as needed. 6. Tighten brackets with cam handle, being careful not to over-tighten.
Snugging hardware first allows you to align the cross tubing with the brackets and ensure proper fit before final tightening. Once all four attachment points are snug and aligned, you then fully tighten all hardware with the M8 Allen wrench.
The 3M tape strips must be applied before attaching the brackets to the Jeep. Slide the bottom flange bracket and cover bracket together first, then apply one 60mm and one 70mm 3M tape strip to the flanges, then attach the assembled brackets to the hard top.
The M12 button head cap screws must be torqued to 40 ft-lbs.
