The Bullseye 52203 is a wireless monitor designed for RVi Series compatible braking systems in motorhomes. It displays real-time information about your towed vehicle's braking system, battery charger status, and breakaway connection. The monitor mounts to the motorhome's dashboard via a suction cup and connects wirelessly to your RVi Series braking system, charger, and breakaway device.
The package includes: (1) Bullseye wireless monitor with screen, (2) 12-volt dual USB-C charger, (3) USB-C power cable, (4) Range extender, (5) Suction mount with 3M suction cup, (6) Suction lock lever, (7) Lock nut for screen adjustment, and (8) Alligator clips for battery connection.
The Bullseye 52203 is designed to pair with RVi Series compatible devices including braking systems, chargers, and breakaway devices. The manual states you should consult your specific RVi Series product user guide for pairing steps unique to that device. The Bullseye will automatically search for and display compatible devices by signal strength during pairing.
No. The range extender is intended for installation at the chassis battery of the motorhome and is recommended but not required for all motorhomes. It improves wireless signal range between the Bullseye and your RVi Series devices.
The Bullseye requires a 12-volt outlet on or near the motorhome's dashboard. The 12-volt dual USB-C charger plugs into this outlet and powers the monitor via the included USB-C cable. If the 12-volt outlet is not live at all times, the engine may need to be running to power the Bullseye.
The Bullseye mounts via a 3M suction cup that works on glass or plastic surfaces. Textured surfaces are not recommended. Before mounting, clean the surface of dust and debris to ensure proper adhesion. If the suction cup loses stickiness, rinse it with warm water and let it air dry.
1. Clean the mounting surface of dust and debris. 2. Peel the protective cover from the 3M suction cup and press firmly in your preferred location. 3. Snap down the suction lock lever. 4. Adjust the screen surface in the direction of choice and tighten the threaded lock nut securely. 5. Plug the USB-C cable into the Bullseye and the 12-volt dual USB-C charger. 6. Plug the charger into a 12-volt outlet on or near the dash.
1. Locate the chassis battery of the motorhome. 2. Attach the alligator clip on the black cable to the battery's negative post. 3. Attach the alligator clip on the red cable to the battery's positive post; the LED power indicator should start flashing. 4. Find and clean a smooth surface to attach the range extender, ensuring you can see the LED power indicator. 5. Peel the adhesive cover off the back of the range extender and press it firmly to the cleaned area.
By default, the Bullseye does not come paired with the braking system. Once powered on, it will display the Pairing screen and automatically search for RVi Series compatible devices, displaying them in a list ordered by signal strength. The screen will guide you through pairing. You can return to the Pairing screen anytime to pair a new device. Consult your specific RVi Series product user guide for pairing steps unique to that device.
Before each trip, check the Breakaway screen on the Bullseye to confirm that the breakaway is connected. The manual states that because breakaways are required by law, it is important to check this before each trip.
The FCC ID is Z64-CC3100MODR1. The equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules.
To comply with FCC RF exposure requirements, a minimum separation distance of 0.81 cm (0.3 inches) is required between the antenna and all persons. The equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy, and if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
Avoid distracted driving and only make adjustments to the Bullseye when the vehicle is stationary. Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and motor vehicle safety regulations, including all laws prohibiting the use of handheld devices while operating a motor vehicle. The Bullseye is designed for monitoring while driving, but adjustments must be made safely when parked.
The range extender has an LED power indicator that should start flashing once you attach the alligator clips to the chassis battery (black clip to negative post, red clip to positive post). Ensure the range extender is mounted in a location where you can see this LED power indicator.
Once paired, the Bullseye displays a Dashboard screen that allows you to navigate to different screens for: Drive Mode (primary monitoring and control screen), product feedback, Brake settings, Charger status (towed vehicle battery voltage, motorhome voltage, and charging amperage), Breakaway connection status, and About screen (firmware, serial number, and Night Mode toggle).
If the 3M gel suction cup loses its stickiness, rinse it with warm water and let it air dry. This should restore its adhesive properties for remounting.
