This replacement handle fits all CURT S-series 5th wheel sliders. It is designed to replace the existing handle for operating the 5th wheel slider when shifting it between the forward and rearward positions. This package comes with the handle and hardware only. The slider is not included.

The kit includes: 1 locking handle, 1 shoulder bolt (M6), 1 hex bolt (M8), 1 nylock nut (M6), 1 nylock nut (M8), and 2 nylon flat washers.
You need a 4mm Allen key. The manual lists this as the only tool required for installation.
The manual does not mention battery disconnection. No electrical work is involved in this installation.
Unhook the locking bar spring in the center of the slider. This must be done before aligning and securing the handle to the locking bar.
Align the upper mounting point of the handle with the mounting hole on the locking bar. Secure using the M8 hex bolt and M8 nylock nut, torqued to 25 ft-lbs.
Insert one nylon flat washer on either side of the handle, aligning the lower mounting hole with the reset bracket. Secure using the M6 shoulder bolt and M6 nylock nut, torqued to 10 ft-lbs.
Torque the M8 hex bolt and M8 nylock nut to 25 ft-lbs.
Torque the M6 shoulder bolt and M6 nylock nut to 10 ft-lbs.
Never exceed the vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. This is a critical safety requirement that must be observed when using this product.
Periodic inspection of the product should be performed to ensure all hardware and components remain secure. The manual recommends using specified torque specifications to prevent damage during installation, but does not specify inspection intervals.
A 4mm Allen key is the only tool required.
