Our RV bumper hitches are coated with a liquid A-coat followed by a gloss black powder coat finish for lasing resistance against wear and corrosion, and they offer a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening. The Curt 19101 fits 2" x 4" bumper beams only. Measure your vehicle's bumper beam dimensions before purchasing. If your bumper is a different size, this hitch will not fit.

1. Locate and mark the center of your vehicle's bumper beam. 2. Position the hitch over the bumper beam on the center mark. 3. Secure the hitch using the two 1/2-13 x 3" carriage bolts and two 1/2-13 flange nuts. 4. Torque all 1/2" hardware to 110 ft-lbs.
Position the hitch centered on the bumper beam. First locate and mark the center of your vehicle's bumper beam, then align the hitch over that center mark before securing with bolts.
All non-trailer loads applied to this hitch must be supported by Curt 18050 stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support non-trailer loads will void the product warranty. This applies to any load that is not a traditional trailer.
Stabilizing straps (Curt part 18050) are required only if you are carrying non-trailer loads on the hitch. If you are towing a standard trailer, straps are not required. If you use the hitch for any other purpose, straps must be used or warranty is voided.
No. The manual explicitly states: "DO NOT EXCEED VEHICLE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDED TOWING CAPACITY." Even though the hitch is rated for 3,500 lbs trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight, you must respect your vehicle's lower limit if it has one.
