Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

How To Properly Select a Ball Mount - Draw•Tite®
The Adjustable Tri-Ball Mount is a towing hitch ball assembly that allows you to select between three different ball sizes (1 7/8", 2", or 2 5/16") and adjust the height in 1.25-inch increments to match your trailer coupler. It mounts onto a shank that inserts into your vehicle's hitch receiver. The product complies with New York V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684 safety standards.
The manual does not specify which hitch receiver types (Class I, II, III, etc.) or receiver opening sizes are compatible with this product. Contact the manufacturer or consult a fitment database to confirm compatibility with your vehicle's specific hitch receiver.
The tri-ball mount accommodates three ball sizes: 1 7/8", 2", and 2 5/16". Your trailer coupler must match one of these sizes. The manual does not specify compatibility with pintle hooks or other coupler types. Confirm your trailer's coupler size before purchasing.
The maximum towing capacity depends on the ball size selected and your vehicle's manufacturer rating. Do not exceed the lower of these two limits: 1 7/8" ball: 2,000 lbs (907 kg); 2" ball: 10,000 lbs (4,535 kg); 2 5/16" ball: 14,000 lbs (6,350 kg). Always use the ball size appropriate for your trailer's coupler.
Pin & clip for the shank insertion into the hitch receiver are sold separately. You will also need a shank pin & clip to secure the tri-ball assembly to the shank, and a spindle pin & clip to lock your selected ball size in place. The manual does not specify whether the shank itself is included or sold separately.
The manual does not specify whether drilling, modification, or pre-existing holes in the hitch receiver are required. Consult the manufacturer or your vehicle's hitch documentation to confirm your receiver is compatible and properly prepared.
Installation has three steps: (1) Insert the shank into your hitch receiver and attach the pin & clip (sold separately). (2) Insert the tri-ball assembly onto the shank, adjust to the proper height, and attach the shank pin & clip. Height adjustment is in 1.25-inch increments. (3) Remove the spindle pin & clip, rotate the assembly to select your ball size or step position, and reinstall the spindle pin & clip. See Figures 1 and 2 for maximum drop and rise positions.
Height adjustment is made by moving the tri-ball assembly up or down the shank in 1.25-inch increments. After inserting the shank into the hitch receiver, slide the tri-ball assembly to the desired height and secure it with the shank pin & clip. The proper height is achieved when the trailer coupler and tongue are level with the ground when the vehicle and trailer are loaded for travel (see Figure 5).
The tri-ball assembly allows you to rotate between three ball sizes: 1 7/8", 2", and 2 5/16". To change the ball size: remove the spindle pin & clip, rotate the assembly to select the desired ball size or step position, and reinstall the spindle pin & clip. Choose the ball size that matches your trailer's coupler.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners are properly tightened. Additionally, check for proper ball mount height with the vehicle and trailer loaded for travel before each trip. The trailer coupler and tongue should be level with the ground at proper adjustment.
A hitch or ball that has been damaged must be removed and replaced. Do not attempt to repair or continue using a damaged mount or ball.
Reese Towpower offers the Dual Ball Mount (P/N 63071) and the Pintle Mount (P/N 63072) as alternatives to the Adjustable Tri-Ball Mount. Replacement head units are also available: the Adjustable Tri-Ball Mount system head unit only (P/N 63075) and the Adjustable Dual Ball Mount system head unit only (P/N 63076).
Replacement parts include: Cast Shank (P/N 63911), Adjustable Tri-Ball Mount system head unit only (P/N 63075), and Adjustable Dual Ball Mount system head unit only (P/N 63076). The manual also lists Reese Towpower Farm & Ranch component parts: Shank (P/N 7094333), Triball Head (P/N 7093533), Dual Ball Head (P/N 7093333), and Pintle Plate Only (P/N 7074833).
The tri-ball mount fits any vehicle with a compatible hitch receiver. It accommodates trailers with 1 7/8", 2", or 2 5/16" ball couplers. Confirm your hitch receiver type and trailer coupler size with the manufacturer or a fitment database.
You must purchase pin & clip sets separately: one for the shank insertion into the hitch receiver, one shank pin & clip for the tri-ball assembly, and one spindle pin & clip for ball size selection. The manual does not confirm whether the shank is included.
Slide the tri-ball assembly up or down the shank in 1.25-inch increments and secure with the shank pin & clip. Adjust until the trailer coupler and tongue are level with the ground when the vehicle and trailer are loaded.
Remove the spindle pin & clip, rotate the assembly to select the desired ball size (1 7/8", 2", or 2 5/16"), and reinstall the spindle pin & clip. Match the ball size to your trailer's coupler.
Do not exceed the lower of your vehicle manufacturer's rating or: 1 7/8" ball: 2,000 lbs; 2" ball: 10,000 lbs; 2 5/16" ball: 14,000 lbs. Always check fasteners frequently and verify proper ball height with the vehicle and trailer loaded.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners are properly tightened. Verify proper ball height with the vehicle and trailer loaded before each trip. Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
