Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Equip your vehicle for towing and hitch-mounted accessories with a dependable CURT 2" trailer hitch. Designed for a vehicle-specific fit, CURT receiver hitches provide a strong and secure connection point for towing trailers, carrying bikes, transporting cargo and using other compatible 2-inch hitch accessories.
Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.
Shop CURT 2-inch trailer hitches at TowUniverse for vehicle-specific fitment, trusted towing performance and access to the accessories needed to complete your towing setup.

The 41121 hitch is designed for Chevrolet and GMC vans. However, the manual does not specify which model years, cab styles, bed lengths, or drivetrain configurations are compatible. Contact Towing Products or consult a fitment database to confirm compatibility with your specific van before purchasing.
The 41121 hitch has two rating modes. As a weight distributing hitch, it supports a maximum gross trailer weight of 10,000 lb and a maximum tongue weight of 1,000 lb. As a weight carrying hitch, it supports a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lb and a maximum tongue weight of 500 lb. Consult your vehicle owner's manual for towing recommendations and limitations specific to your van.
You will need: 9/16" socket, 9/16" wrench, 3/4" wrench, 3/4" socket, and a torque wrench. These tools are required to remove the factory bumper support brackets and install the hitch receiver with the correct torque specifications.
Package 01130-265 includes: one 1/2" serrated washer, one 1/2" nut, one 1/2" carriage bolt, one bolt plate, one 1/2" hex bolt, two 3/8" lock nuts, and two 3/8" serrated washers. You will reuse the bolts and washers removed from the factory bumper support brackets during installation.
Yes. Step 1 instructs you to save the bolts and washers removed from the two lower bumper support brackets, one per side. The bracket itself must also be saved and returned to the vehicle owner.
Step 5 specifies the exact tightening order: first, torque the two 3/8" lock nuts on the bumper to 30 ft-lb. Then, torque the 1/2" nuts and bolts to 75 ft-lb. This sequence allows the receiver to be pulled rearward to the bumper before the frame bolts are fully tightened. Do not deviate from this order.
Torque the two 3/8" lock nuts on the bumper to 30 ft-lb. This must be done before tightening the 1/2" frame bolts, as specified in Step 5.
Torque the 1/2" nuts and bolts to 75 ft-lb. This is done after the 3/8" bumper lock nuts have been torqued to 30 ft-lb, as specified in Step 5.
No. The manual includes a warning: DO NOT LUBRICATE THREADS, BOLT FAILURE MAY OCCUR DUE TO OVER TIGHTENING. Applying lubricant to the threads can cause bolts to be over-tightened and fail.
No. The manual includes a warning: DO NOT DRILL OR WELD TO THIS HITCH. Any drilling or welding will damage the hitch and void the warranty.
No. The manual states: USE ONLY TOWING PRODUCTS SUPPLIED OR APPROVED BOLTS, LOCKNUTS, AND WASHERS TO INSTALL THIS HITCH. Using non-approved fasteners may result in improper installation, hitch failure, and void the warranty.
Leave bolts loose during the initial installation steps. Step 1 instructs you to install the four 1/2" frame bolts and washers and leave them loose. Step 3 instructs you to install the 3/8" bumper bolts and lock nuts and leave them loose. Step 4 instructs you to install the 1/2" pull wire bolts and nuts and leave them loose. Only in Step 5, after all components are positioned, do you tighten the bolts in the specified sequence.
The pull wire (55392) is used to pull the hitch receiver rearward to align it with the bumper before final tightening. In Step 4, you screw the pull wire onto a 1/2" carriage bolt, feed it through a bolt plate and the large hole in the outboard side of the frame, and pull it out the bottom hole of the frame. This is repeated on both sides. The pull wire is then secured with 1/2" serrated washers, lock washers, and nuts.
The manual includes a warning: Two 3/8" lock nuts must be used with two 3/8" bumper bolts; otherwise the receiver could loosen and separate from the vehicle. Using both lock nuts prevents the receiver from loosening during use, which could cause it to separate from the vehicle and create a safety hazard.
The 41121 is designed for Chevrolet and GMC vans. Confirm your specific model year and configuration with Towing Products before purchasing.
