Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Equip your vehicle for towing and hitch-mounted accessories with a dependable CURT 2" trailer hitch. Designed for a vehicle-specific fit, CURT receiver hitches provide a strong and secure connection point for towing trailers, carrying bikes, transporting cargo and using other compatible 2-inch hitch accessories.
Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.
Shop CURT 2-inch trailer hitches at TowUniverse for vehicle-specific fitment, trusted towing performance and access to the accessories needed to complete your towing setup.

This hitch (part number 75532) is designed for the Hyundai Veracruz. The manual specifically covers 2007 and 2009 models. For compatibility with other model years, contact the manufacturer or your installer, as the manual does not confirm fitment beyond these years.
The maximum gross trailer weight is 5,000 lb (2,270 kg) and the maximum tongue weight is 500 lb (227 kg). However, you must not exceed the lower of this hitch's rating or your vehicle manufacturer's towing rating. Check your vehicle's owner manual for its specific towing capacity.
You will need wrenches in 10mm, 14mm, and 16mm sizes. A torque wrench is required to tighten the fasteners to the specified torque of 58 lb-ft (79 N·m). No drill bits are needed.
Yes, if a tow hook is present on your vehicle, it must be removed before installation. The manual instructs you to remove the two bolts on the bottom of the frame rail and the remaining bolt (which requires lowering the exhaust at the rubber isolators). Return the tow hook and its fasteners to the vehicle owner.
Yes. You must detach the rubber exhaust hangers and lower the rearward portion of the exhaust at two locations on each exhaust. This is necessary to access and remove the bolt on the inside of the frame rail. After installing the hitch, the exhaust system must be raised back into position.
The fastener kit (75532F) includes four M10×1.25×40mm CL10.9 hex bolts and four conical washers. These fasteners attach the hitch to the existing weld nuts on the frame rails.
You do not need to completely remove the heat shield, but you must remove the two outboard nuts (one on each side) that hold it in place. These nuts must be reinstalled after the hitch is positioned. Keep the nut on the inside of the frame rail—do not remove it. Replace all other heat shield nuts except the one on the frame rail.
The hitch must be positioned between the heat shield and the frame rails. Align the hitch slots to the existing weld nuts on the frame rails before installing the fasteners.
All M10 CL10.9 fasteners must be tightened to 58 lb-ft (79 N·m) using a torque wrench.
The hitch will push up slightly on the bottom plastic valance panel when installed. This is by design and is how the hitch was engineered to fit. If you prefer, the bottom valance panel may be removed.
No drilling is required. The hitch attaches to existing weld nuts on the frame rails.
Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle. Wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. Use proper lifting equipment and support the vehicle securely.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. Verify that the hitch is securely attached and that all bolts remain at the specified torque of 58 lb-ft (79 N·m).
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Do not continue to use a damaged hitch.
Yes, this hitch is designed for the Hyundai Veracruz (2007, 2009 models confirmed). Confirm your model year with the manufacturer for other years.
