Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

The Trailer Hitch for 09-14 Ford F-150, 10-13 Lincoln Mark LT (Part #DT65061) Refer to the included instructions for installation details. Basic hand tools are typically all you need.
Yes. Part 65061 fits all Ford F-150 2WD and 4WD models including XL, XLT, STX, FX2, FX4, EcoBoost, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, SVT Raptor, and Harley-Davidson versions. Lincoln Mark LT (Mexico only) is also compatible.
Yes, but the Raptor requires front skid-shield modification as part of the installation.
Yes. Harley-Davidson versions are compatible, but the plastic air dam may push up slightly during installation.
No. The manual lists "Drill Bits: None" under Equipment Required. The receiver uses existing 1" diameter holes on the inside of the truck frame rails.
Yes. A section of the front fascia must be trimmed. For 4WD models, trim 1-3/8" up from the bottom by 3-1/2" wide. For 2WD models, trim 1" up from the bottom by 3-1/2" wide. Verify dimensions before trimming.
Yes, for 2011 and newer F-150 models. Use a 15mm wrench to remove the 2 nuts holding the air dam.
You will need 3/4", 7/8", and 15/16" wrenches. If removing the air dam (2011 and newer), also have a 15mm wrench. A torque wrench is required to tighten fasteners to specification.
Tighten all 5/8" GR5 fasteners with a torque wrench to 150 Lb.-Ft (203 N-M).
Tighten all 1/2" GR5 fasteners with a torque wrench to 75 Lb.-Ft (102 N-M).
Do not exceed 500 lb or the truck's front Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR), whichever is lower.
The fastener kit 65061F includes: (2) Hex Bolts 1/2"-13 x 6" Gr5, (2) Carriage Bolts 5/8"-11 x 2" Gr5, (2) Flat Washers 1/2", (2) Conical Washers 5/8", (4) Conical Washers 1/2", (2) Hex Nuts 5/8", (2) Hex Nuts 1/2", (2) 1.50" x 2.00" Blocks, (2) Spacer Tubes 4-1/4", and (2) Pull Wires.
Required tools: wrenches (3/4", 7/8", 15/16"), torque wrench, tape, and a cutting tool for hard plastic fascia. If removing the air dam on 2011 and newer models, also have a 15mm wrench. No drill bits are required.
1. Trim the fascia (1-3/8" from bottom for 4WD, 1" for 2WD, 3-1/2" wide). For 2011 and newer, remove the air dam using a 15mm wrench. 2. Insert 1/2" x 6" bolts through conical washers into 1" diameter holes on the inside of frame rails. 3. Slide spacer tubes onto the bolts from the outside of frame rails. 4. Tape 1/2" flat washers to the outside of frame rails in the depression around each hole. Gently pull bolts back so their ends are even with the washers. 5. Position and raise the hitch carefully. 6. Use 5/8" bolt leaders to pull 5/8" carriage bolts through frame slots and the hitch. 7. Tighten all 5/8" fasteners to 150 Lb.-Ft and all 1/2" fasteners to 75 Lb.-Ft using a torque wrench.
Tape the 1/2" flat washers to the depression around the hole on the outside of the frame rails on both sides of the truck. This holds them in place while you gently pull the bolts back so their ends are even with the washers, allowing the hitch to be raised into position without knocking off the taped washers.
Bolt leaders are tools used to pull 5/8" carriage bolts through the frame slots and hitch. The square shoulders of the carriage bolts must be pulled out to engage with the sides of the frame slots. Access slots on the inside of the truck frame are used to pull the bolts through. On 4WD models, you can optionally pull bolts through the end of the frame above the recovery eyes.
For 4WD models, trim the fascia 1-3/8" up from the bottom by 3-1/2" wide. Verify dimensions before trimming.
For 2WD models, trim the fascia 1" up from the bottom by 3-1/2" wide. Verify dimensions before trimming.
Yes. The manual states: "CONSULT VEHICLE OWNER BEFORE TRIMMING OR CUTTING FASCIA." This is important because the modification is permanent and affects the vehicle's appearance.
No. The manual explicitly states: "Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch." Use a cutting tool designed for hard plastic fascia instead.
It may be necessary to file slots slightly on some truck frames to allow 5/8" carriage bolts to pass through more easily. File only as needed to allow smooth bolt passage.
Yes, this is optional. You can pull the 5/8" carriage bolts through the end of the frame above the recovery eyes on 4WD models, as an alternative to using the access slots on the inside of the frame.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. The manual does not specify an exact interval, but regular inspection is essential for safe operation.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced immediately. Do not attempt to repair a damaged receiver or ball.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. Consult the vehicle owner before trimming or cutting the fascia.
The 65061 complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
No. All 4WD trucks come standard with recovery eyes, but 2WD model trucks do not.
Yes. All 4WD trucks come standard with recovery eyes.
The spacer tubes (4-1/4" long) slide onto the 1/2" x 6" bolts from the outside of the truck frame rails. They are inserted after the bolts are placed through the conical washers and into the 1" diameter holes on the inside of the frame rails.
Conical washers are used with the bolts to distribute load and ensure proper seating. The 1/2" x 6" bolts are inserted through 5/8" conical washers, and 1/2" conical washers are also included in the kit (qty. 4).
