Each front mounted receiver hitch is custom built according to manufacturer make and model year specifications and bolts to the underside of the vehicle frame, making installation a breeze! This particular front mount receiver hitch is rated up to 500 lbs. tongue weight and up to 9,000 lbs. line pull with a 2 inch square tube receiver opening for your attachments. Each is made of solid, all-welded steel for maximum strength and safety with a black powder coat finish to resist rust and corrosion. Feed the coiled end of the pull wire (item 7) through the existing hole into the bottom of the frame and out of the end of the frame rail. Attach the 1/2" carriage bolt (item 3) and 1/4" thick spacer block (item 4) to the pull wire, then pull the fasteners into the end of the frame rails and into position on both sides. Ensure the spacer blocks sit flat inside the frame.
Two sizes of spacer blocks are used: 1/4" thick blocks (item 4) are attached to the pull wire to help position the carriage bolts inside the frame, and 3/16" thick blocks (item 5) are installed onto the carriage bolts and secured to the bottom of the frame with tape.
