Each front mounted receiver hitch is custom built according to manufacturer make and model year specifications and bolts to the underside of the vehicle frame, making installation a breeze! This particular front mount receiver hitch is rated up to 500 lbs. tongue weight and up to 9,000 lbs. line pull with a 2 inch square tube receiver opening for your attachments. Each is made of solid, all-welded steel for maximum strength and safety with a black powder coat finish to resist rust and corrosion. Draw-Tite front hitches are tested to exceed V-5 and SAE J684 standards.

Yes. The installation requires trimming of the lower fascia. The center section of the fascia opening must be completely removed and discarded, and a 3" x 3" square must be trimmed below center. Obtain owner permission before trimming.

Remove (2) M16 factory bolts from the vehicle frame on both sides using a 24mm socket and open-end wrench. Also remove (1) M12 factory bolt from the vehicle chassis on both sides using an 18mm socket and open-end wrench. Return all factory bolts to the vehicle owner.
Once the (2) M16 factory bolts are removed, the bracket could separate from the vehicle frame. If the bracket becomes loose, remove it completely from the vehicle frame until you are ready to install the hitch.
1. Remove factory bolts (2 M16 from frame, 1 M12 from chassis, both sides). 2. Trim lower fascia (center section and 3" x 3" square below center). 3. Raise hitch and loosely secure at forward holes with M12 bolts, conical washers, and M12 nuts; install M14 bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and M14 nuts. 4. Tighten all fasteners to specification.
Fasteners should be left loose initially. In step 3, secure the hitch loosely at the forward holes with M12 bolts and nuts, and loosely install the M14 bolts with nuts. Only in step 4 are all fasteners tightened to their final torque specifications.
If there is a gap between the hitch bracket and the mounting surface, use one extra 9/16" flat washer on both M14 bolts. This is shown in Figure 1 of the manual.
