Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Equip your vehicle for towing and hitch-mounted accessories with a dependable CURT 2" trailer hitch. Designed for a vehicle-specific fit, CURT receiver hitches provide a strong and secure connection point for towing trailers, carrying bikes, transporting cargo and using other compatible 2-inch hitch accessories.
Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.
Shop CURT 2-inch trailer hitches at TowUniverse for vehicle-specific fitment, trusted towing performance and access to the accessories needed to complete your towing setup.

The Draw-tite Hidden Hitch® Completely Hidden Trailer Hitch 2" Removable Receiver, Black for Select Audi Q5, Audi Q5 PHEV, Audi Q5 Sportback, Audi SQ5, Audi SQ5 Sportback 76911 (Part #DT76911) Refer to the included instructions for installation details. Basic hand tools are typically all you need.
Yes, part number 76911 is designed for 2018-Current Audi Q5 and SQ5 models. For the most up-to-date information regarding specific application years and trim levels, visit the Horizon Global website at www.horizonglobal.com.
The 76911 is a weight-carrying hitch with a maximum gross trailer weight (GTW) of 3,500 lb (1,588 kg) and a maximum tongue weight of 350 lb (158 kg). Do not exceed the lower of your vehicle manufacturer's towing rating or these limits.
You will need: a ratchet, torque wrench, safety glasses, sockets (10 mm, 16 mm, 19 mm), a 6-inch socket extension, a T25 Torx bit socket, a panel removal tool, plastic trim tools, and silicone sealant. A representative vehicle photo and hitch illustration are provided in the manual.
Yes. Step 4 of the installation requires you to remove the bumper beam and cross bar using a 16 mm socket to remove eight (8) M10 factory bolts. The bumper beam and cross bar should be returned to the vehicle owner after the hitch is installed.
Step 3 requires removal of: the rear bottom fascia (4 screws), wheel well liner (1 screw and 1 plastic flange nut per side), lower wheel well trim, upper wheel well area screws (3 per side), rear cargo flooring, scuff plate, bumper fascia studs (2 under scuff plate, 1 inside driver-side compartment), and driver-side interior panel. The passenger-side interior panel is also removed but wiring harnesses on the passenger side must not be disconnected.
All M10 fasteners must be tightened to 53 Lb-Ft (72 N·M) using a torque wrench. Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
The M12 bolt, flat washer, and prevailing torque nut that attach the housing to the hitch must be tightened to 92 Lb-Ft (125 N·M).
1. Install receiver housing to hitch using M12 bolt, flat washer, and prevailing torque nut (tighten to 92 Lb-Ft / 125 N·M). 2. Keep warning card in glove compartment and apply warning labels to receiver and door jamb. 3. Remove fascia (rear bottom, wheel well liners, trim, interior panels). 4. Remove bumper beam and cross bar (8 M10 bolts). 5. Apply silicone sealant around end panel openings and loosely install the 8 existing factory M10 bolts. 6. Tighten all M10 fasteners to 53 Lb-Ft (72 N·M). 7. Reinstall all removed panels, trim, wiring harnesses, and rubber plugs.
Step 5 instructs you to loosely install the eight (8) existing factory M10 bolts. They are then tightened to 53 Lb-Ft (72 N·M) in Step 6 using a torque wrench.
No drilling is required. The hitch uses eight (8) existing factory M10 bolt holes in the bumper beam and cross bar. The manual explicitly warns: 'Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.'
The installation is reversible. The hitch uses existing factory M10 bolt holes and does not require welding, cutting, or permanent modifications to the vehicle. If the hitch is removed, the manual instructs you to 'plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.'
Silicone sealant is used to seal around the opening on the end panel on both sides of the vehicle (Step 5). This prevents water and exhaust fumes from entering the vehicle through the hitch mounting area.
Fastener Kit 76911F includes: (2) M12 bolts (1.75 x 100 mm, CL10.9), (2) 7/16-inch flat washers, and (2) M12 x 1.75 prevailing torque nuts (CL10). These are used to attach the receiver housing to the hitch. Fastener Kit 76911F2 includes a warning card and two warning labels. The eight (8) M10 factory bolts from the bumper beam are reused to mount the hitch to the vehicle.
The receiver housing is a removable component that comes with the hitch. It is unlocked using a key attached to the blue handle, then removed by pressing the handle and rotating clockwise until a click sound is heard. The housing is then installed with top/bottom weather covers and attached to the hitch using an M12 bolt, flat washer, and prevailing torque nut, tightened to 92 Lb-Ft (125 N·M). For receiver installation and use, refer to instruction 76900N with the receiver kit.
The ball mount must have a maximum length of 10.5 inches (distance from center of ball hole to center of pin hole) and a minimum rise of 0.75 inches (distance from top of shank to top of ball platform). The manual states 'Ball mount selection' with these specifications but does not specify which ball mounts are compatible. Consult the manufacturer or a professional installer for compatible ball mount options.
Two quick-link options are available (sold separately): #49131 (5/16 inch) with a maximum GTW of 3,500 lb, and #44133 (3/8 inch) with a maximum GTW of 3,500 lb. These are used to attach safety chains to the hitch.
Key warnings include: (1) Do not cut, weld, or modify the receiver. (2) Check all fasteners are tight and the hitch is securely mounted periodically. (3) Do not exceed the vehicle manufacturer's towing rating or the hitch's 3,500 lb GTW / 350 lb tongue weight limits. (4) Load the trailer heavier in front. (5) Always wear your seatbelt. (6) Slow down when towing and never exceed posted speed limits. (7) If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel steady; do not apply brakes or speed up. (8) Wear safety glasses during installation. (9) If the hitch is removed, plug all holes to prevent water and exhaust fume entry. (10) Do not use a torch to cut access or attachment holes.
After installation, check that all fasteners are tight and the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle. The manual instructs you to 'check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened.' Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
The manual instructs you to 'check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened.' It also states 'CHECK all fasteners are tight and your hitch is securely mounted to your vehicle periodically.' No specific interval is provided; regular inspection before towing is recommended.
If the hitch or ball is damaged, it must be removed and replaced. The manual states: 'A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced.' Do not attempt to repair or continue using a damaged hitch.
The average installation time for professional installers is 90 minutes. The manual notes: 'If you do not feel comfortable performing this installation on your own or are in need of assistance, please contact a professional installer.'
