LUVERNE Grip Step 7" running boards for vans are the ideal work van accessories, adding safe, dependable footing to your cargo van with a vehicle-specific fit. Grip Step van steps are equipped with high-traction treads for fleet-approved safety, and they are made from powder-coated aluminum to be lightweight and provide long-lasting resistance to the elements. All Grip Step running boards are engineered for vehicle-specific installation. These van steps offer a custom fit for certain years and styles of the Ford E150, E150 Econoline, E250, E250 Econoline and E350 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment with your cargo van). They come with a shorter driver-side step and longer passenger-side step for the sliding door. They also come with powder-coated steel brackets and stainless steel hardware for a complete install. Grip Step running boards for vans are optimized for delivery trucks, construction vehicles and other commercial vans. They feature a 7" width, covered with expanded metal treads to grip the bottom of your boots for safe entry and exit every time. The metal treads are also highly resistant to wear, and they help keep the steps clean with their open, through-hole design. The aluminum construction of LUVERNE Grip Step running boards makes them strong for a rigid step, but lightweight for optimized fuel efficiency. Aluminum is also highly corrosion-resistant. To maximize corrosion resistance, Grip Step van steps are shielded in a textured black powder coat finish. This gives them an impervious layer of protection against the elements and resists chipping and UV damage. The black running boards also complement the look and style of your cargo van, adding a professional finishing touch. To complete the look, we also offer rear Grip Step van steps, providing safe, convenient access to the rear cargo area.
Grip Step van running boards are designed to be the best running boards for work vans and cargo vans, featuring a unique expanded metal tread pattern for superior traction and a 7" width for reliable footing.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The LUVERNE Grip Step 7" x 36", 100" Black Aluminum Running Boards, Select Ford E-Series 415100-570124 (Part #FTNF415100-570124) Refer to the included instructions for installation details. Basic hand tools are typically all you need.
The Model 570124 bracket package is designed for 2001 and newer Ford vans. The manual does not specify compatibility with particular body styles, cab configurations, or wheelbase lengths. Contact the manufacturer or your installer to confirm fitment for your specific van model and year.
The Model 570124 is a bracket package designed to mount O-MEGA Steps or Grip Steps to 2001 and newer Ford vans. It includes mounting brackets, fasteners, and hardware needed to securely attach either step type to the vehicle's body and frame.
The package includes: 14 hex head cap screws 5/16"-18 X 1" (BZP), 22 square head screws 5/16"-18 X 1", 24 self-drilling TEK screws #8-18 X 1/2" (stainless), 5 short multi-thread U-nuts 5/16"-18, 2 long multi-thread U-nuts 5/16"-18, 22 serrated flange nuts 5/16"-18 (stainless), 7 serrated flange nuts 5/16"-18 (black zinc plated), 21 flat washers 5/16" (stainless), and 7 lock washers 5/16" (stainless). Additional fasteners are required for O-MEGA or Grip Step assembly.
On the passenger side of the vehicle, remove the tape covering the mounting holes in the inside quarter panel at five locations. Verify all required parts from the service parts list are on hand before starting installation. The manual does not specify whether additional vehicle preparation, such as removing trim or disconnecting the battery, is required.
Install short 5/16"-18 multi-thread U-nuts (Item #14) in the rectangular and round holes at the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th holes from the front. Install the long 5/16"-18 multi-thread U-nut (Item #15) in the rectangular and round hole at the 2nd set of holes from the front. These U-nuts receive the mounting bracket bolts.
1. Install short and long U-nuts in the quarter panel holes (Step 2). 2. Install mounting brackets using hex bolts, flat washers, and lock washers into the U-nuts; finger tighten only (Step 3). 3. Install hex bolts through the lower pinch weld holes with flat washers and serrated flange nuts; finger tighten only (Step 4). 4. Tighten the front brackets against the vehicle surface and tighten the pinch weld bolts (Step 5). 5. Repeat for the driver's side (Step 6). 6. Final torque to 19 foot-pounds after step installation (Steps 10 and 14).
No. All bolts are finger-tightened only during initial bracket installation (Steps 3 and 4). The brackets are not fully tightened until after the step assembly is positioned and aligned. Final torque is applied in Steps 10 and 14 after the steps are mounted and aligned with the vehicle body.
Mount step pads (Item #4) to step plates using 1/2" TEK screws (Item #13). Position the front step pad approximately 7-1/2" from the front. Install the two center screws first. If installing at approximately 70°F, position screws in the middle of the slotted holes, then back off each screw 1/4 turn. This allows the plastic pads to expand when hot and contract when cold without rising between the screws. Rear pads are optional.
For the right side O-MEGA step: five square head screws 5/16"-18 X 1" (Item #12) in the front track and five in the rear track (Step 7). For the left side O-MEGA step: two square head screws in the front track and two in the rear track (Step 11). The screws are positioned in the slots of the mounting brackets and secured with serrated flange nuts.
Position the step so that the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Align the bottom edge of the step plate with the bottom of the body sheet metal. The bottom edge of the mounting bracket flanges should be even with the bottom edge of the pinch weld on the vehicle. Finger-tighten the serrated flange nuts initially, then apply final torque after alignment.
1. Slide the appropriate number of support braces (Item #22) into the channel of the steps. 2. Slide end caps (Item #21) over the front and rear of each step. 3. Screw the end caps to the steps using #8 X 1/2" self-drilling TEK screws (Item #13). 4. Set the steps on the mounting brackets and slide each support brace over the top of each mounting bracket. 5. Attach the flat spacer plate (Item #23) to the bottom of the step between the support brace and the top of the mounting bracket.
Using 5/16"-18 X 1" carriage bolts (Item #24), 5/16" flat washers (Item #25), and 5/16"-18 serrated flange nuts (Item #16), attach the step assemblies and flat spacer plates to the mounting brackets. Slide the step plates to the correct position, then tighten the flange nuts to 19 foot-pounds of torque. Finally, tighten the bracket to body mounting bolts to 19 foot-pounds of torque.
All final torque specifications are 19 foot-pounds. This applies to: bolts from the step plate to the frame (O-MEGA steps, Steps 9 and 13), bracket to body mounting bolts (O-MEGA steps, Steps 10 and 14), and flange nuts on carriage bolts for Grip Steps (Step 11). Bracket to body mounting bolts for Grip Steps are also tightened to 19 foot-pounds (Step 12).
Yes. Brackets are installed on the passenger side first (Steps 1-5), then the same mounting procedure is repeated on the driver's side (Step 6). The driver's side uses the same bracket types and fasteners as the passenger side.
The right side O-MEGA step uses five square head screws in the front track and five in the rear track (Step 7). The left side O-MEGA step uses only two square head screws in the front track and two in the rear track (Step 11). Both sides are aligned and torqued identically, but the left side requires fewer fastening points.
The Model 570124 bracket package fits 2001 and newer Ford vans. Confirm your specific van model and year with the manufacturer or installer, as the manual does not detail compatibility with all body styles or configurations.
The package includes hex bolts, square head screws, TEK screws, U-nuts, serrated flange nuts, flat washers, and lock washers in the quantities specified in the service parts list. Additional fasteners are required for O-MEGA or Grip Step assembly.
All final torque specifications are 19 foot-pounds. This applies to step plate to frame bolts, bracket to body mounting bolts, and carriage bolt flange nuts. Do not fully tighten during initial assembly; tighten only after the step is positioned and aligned.
No. All bolts are finger-tightened only during initial bracket and step installation. Final torque to 19 foot-pounds is applied after the step is positioned and aligned with the vehicle body.
Position the front step pad approximately 7-1/2" from the front. If installing at 70°F, place screws in the middle of slotted holes and back off 1/4 turn to allow for plastic expansion and contraction. Rear pads are optional.
Yes. Remove the tape covering the mounting holes in the inside quarter panel on the passenger side at five locations. Verify all required parts are on hand before starting. The manual does not specify other preparation steps.
The mounting procedures are similar, but the left side O-MEGA step uses fewer fastening points (two screws per track instead of five). Both sides are aligned and torqued identically to 19 foot-pounds.
