Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Chevy Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD or 3500 HD (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).

The Regal 7 Oval Steps are pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. You only need to attach the pre-assembled step to the mounting brackets using the supplied fasteners.
Each step assembly includes 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts, flat washers, and serrated flange nuts (items #10, #11, #12) for attaching the step to the mounting brackets. The step assembly also includes end caps, step pads, carriage bolts, nylock nuts, and support mounting plates as listed in the service parts list. Support mounting plates (item #9) are used to attach the step to the brackets.
Yes. The step assembly must be attached to mounting brackets. The manual instructs you to follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package you are using to mount the brackets to your vehicle first. For 2007 GM Silverado and Sierra trucks, the model 400717 Wheel to Wheel Step Brackets are used. Bracket installation must be completed before the step assembly can be attached.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket together. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position. 5. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT torque specification.
All 5/16" fasteners used to attach the step assembly to the mounting brackets must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This includes the 5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts (items #10, #11, #12).
Extended Cab models are available in 96", 100", and 112" lengths. Crew Cab models are available in 100", 106", 112", and 123" lengths. Each length is designated by a specific model number (477097 through 477125). Verify your truck's bed length and cab style to select the correct model.
