Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. The step arrives pre-assembled from the factory. The package includes the oval step assembly, two end caps (one LH rear and one RH front, plus one RH rear and one LH front), six step pads (25" × 6.5"), support mounting plates, and all fasteners needed to attach the step to the mounting brackets: 5/16-18 × 1" hex bolts, flat washers, and serrated flange nuts. Optional 15" × 6.5" step pads are available if needed. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly.
The step is attached using 5/16-18 × 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (item #10), 5/16" flat washers (item #11), and 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (item #12). Ten support mounting plates (item #9) are positioned inside the oval step above each bracket. Each fastener set passes through the support mounting plate, step assembly, and mounting bracket.
All 5/16" fasteners connecting the step assembly to the mounting brackets must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This includes the 5/16-18 × 1" hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts. Tighten all fasteners after setting the step plate in the correct position.
