Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are engineered for practical access to the bed of your truck, featuring an extended length and extra rear step pads. Wheel-to-wheel running boards give you a solid step up for easily reaching items in the truck bed, such as a truck tool box, ladder rack, 5th wheel hitch or other equipment. Regal 7 oval side steps are fitted with large, non-skid step pads. They feature a 7" width and a textured surface, providing enhanced comfort and safety when climbing in and out of your pickup truck. The step pads and matching end caps of Regal 7 wheel-to-wheel steps are angled for a sleek accent. To ensure excellent strength and lasting corrosion resistance, Regal 7 oval side steps are constructed from stainless steel. The stainless steel tubing measures 7" wide and has an elliptical shape for style and strength. All Regal 7 side steps are designed for a custom-fit installation, using vehicle-specific brackets. The brackets are built from strong carbon steel and have a durable black powder coat finish. They install using pre-existing mounting points on the truck to greatly reduce installation time and eliminate tedious modifications. This particular set of LUVERNE Regal 7 oval wheel-to-wheel steps is designed to fit specific years of the Chevy Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD or 3500 HD (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).

Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

Yes. The 401447 bracket is designed for 2014 GM Silverado & Sierra Regular, Double, and Crew Cab Pickups. The bracket package includes left and right mounting brackets (part numbers 552725 and 552726) and all fasteners needed for installation.
Three extended cab models are available: 477097 (96" length), 477101 (100" length), and 477113 (112" length). Each model comes as a left-hand and right-hand pair with part numbers listed in the service parts list.
Four crew cab models are available: 477102 (100" length), 477108 (106" length), 477114 (112" length), and 477125 (123" length). Each model comes as a left-hand and right-hand pair with part numbers listed in the service parts list.
Yes. The step is pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly.
Each step is attached using 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (part 106997), flat washers (part 106998), and serrated flange nuts (part 102680). The manual specifies 20 of each fastener are included in the parts list.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item 9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut, attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT torque.
All 5/16" fasteners on the Regal 7 Oval Step must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
Read the instructions completely and check that all required parts listed on the service parts list are on hand before starting installation.
Attach the top of the mounting brackets (items 1 and 2) to the vehicle with 5/16-18 x 1.0 screw and flat washer (items 5 and 4) and hand tighten only at this stage. Note: If your vehicle has threaded inserts in the rocker panels, use a black M8 x 30mm screw (item 3) instead of the 5/16-18 x 1.0 screw.
Insert 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts (item 7) into the upper holes in the rocker panel. However, some vehicles have threaded inserts in the rocker panels and will not require U-nut installation. Check your vehicle before proceeding.
Install the black M8-1.25 screw (item 3) and washer (item 4), then place the pinch weld support bracket (item 8) above the pinch weld as shown in the instructions. Install the M8 flange nut (item 6). This is done on each mounting bracket. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
1. Loosen the spring hanger bolt just enough so the inboard spring hanger mounting bracket (item 14) can be slid up behind the flange of the bolt. Position it behind the flange with the channel open to the outboard side. 2. Install the outboard spring hanger mounting bracket (item 13) so its inboard vertical portion fits inside the channel of the inboard bracket, using the 3/8" zinc plated bolt (item 11), 3/8" washer (item 12), 1/2" washer (item 9), and 3/8" zinc plated nylock nut (item 10). Do not tighten these bolts until the bracket is attached to the step assembly.
Tighten all fasteners on the 401447 brackets to 19 LB FT, except for the spring hanger bolt, which must be torqued per GM manufacturer specifications.
Yes. Curt Group recommends regular inspection and maintenance of the leaf spring attachment point per GM Technical Service Bulletin 09-03-09-001E: Clunking Noise from Rear of Vehicle (Re-torque Leaf Spring Bolts) for 2007-2017 Chevrolet GMC Trucks. Failure to regularly inspect and maintain factory-recommended torque values may result in damage to the vehicle.

The 401447 bracket package includes three right-hand mounting brackets (part 552725) and three left-hand mounting brackets (part 552726), plus two outboard spring hanger mounting brackets (part 552735) and two inboard spring hanger mounting brackets (part 551806).
The Regal 7 Oval Step assembly includes two end cap LH rear/RH front (part 109233) and two end cap RH rear/LH front (part 109232) in black plastic. Six step pads measuring 25" x 6.5" (part 108909) are included. An additional 15" x 6.5" step pad (part 108913) is available if needed.
The Regal 7 Oval Step assembly includes eight 10-24 x 0.50" stainless steel black carriage bolts (part 107863), thirty-six 10-24 x 1.0" stainless steel black carriage bolts (part 108908), and forty-four 10-24 stainless steel nylock nuts (part 107864).
