UWS Secure Lock crossover truck tool boxes provide the ultimate in security and convenience, offering you a truck bed tool box unlike any other. It features a unique locking system, an innovative interior and a highly durable design. The Secure Lock truck box operates with two lockable twist handles. These handles are key-operated and allow you to lock the truck tool box from either the driver or passenger side. The two locks also give you the option to lock both sides for maximum security. The lid of the Secure Lock tool box is particularly strong, featuring our patented RigidCore foam-filled design. This gives the lid greater structural integrity and resists bending and warping. Like most UWS tool boxes, this box also features extra-thick aluminum construction, and the tub is welded into a single piece to ensure waterproof protection for your items. It is also equipped with a MicroSeal gasket to keep out dust, grime, moisture and insects. To protect the interior of the Secure Lock tool box, it features a heavy-duty BedRug liner. This protective mat resists dents and damage to the box itself and to your tools and other items, and it helps trap dust and dirt for easy cleanup. The UWS Secure Lock truck tool box offers excellent organization for your tools, featuring an included three-compartment tray. The lid is able to open to a complete 90 degrees for easy access to the interior contents, and it is equipped with self-closing struts that automatically close the lid with a slight manual pull, securing the box when your hands are full. The Secure Lock truck tool box is quick and easy to install, and it is available in multiple sizes to provide the perfect fit for your own unique truck bed. Like all UWS products, each Secure Lock crossover truck tool box is proudly assembled right here in the USA for style and long-lasting dependability.

UWS designs and builds heavy-duty truck tool boxes and storage for tradespeople and truck owners. The line covers crossover and side-mount boxes, chest boxes, underbody boxes, transfer tanks and dog boxes. Every aluminum box is designed, fabricated and welded in Perry, Florida, with construction aimed at job-site abuse, road vibration and daily use.
UWS is a leading manufacturer and designer of truck tool boxes and truck accessories, and a Lippert brand. The company's focus is narrow and deliberate: storage that stands up to being opened and slammed shut dozens of times a day, loaded past what looks reasonable, and left outdoors in whatever weather the job brings. Its customers are electricians, plumbers, contractors, farmers, outdoorsmen and truck owners who treat a pickup as a working tool rather than transport.
The catalog covers the full range of bed storage. Crossover boxes sit across the bed behind the cab in single-lid, gull-wing, secure-lock and low-profile styles, so there is a fit whether the priority is capacity, rear visibility or working under a tonneau. Side-mount boxes mount along the bed rails and keep the bed floor free for cargo, while underbody boxes tuck beneath the frame rails of service bodies and flatbeds.
Beyond the bed, UWS makes portable chest boxes that move between vehicles and the shop, transfer tanks and combination tank-and-toolbox units for crews working away from fuel supply, and insulated, ventilated dog boxes for hunters and handlers.
Manufacturing sits at the centre of the brand's identity. Every UWS aluminum tool box is designed, fabricated and welded in Perry, Florida, by tradespeople with decades of experience, and the company's Rooted in Trades initiative is built around that connection to skilled manual work. Boxes use heavy-gauge aluminum, continuous welds at the seams, weather stripping to seal against rain and dust, and locking systems intended to resist tampering. The practical result is storage that keeps tools dry, organized and where they were left.

Yes. The tool box is designed to mount on truck bed rails using adhesive rail pads and J-hook fasteners. The J-hooks insert under the lip of the bed rail and are secured with a washer and nut.
No drilling is required for the standard installation. The tool box uses adhesive rail pads and J-hook fasteners that attach under the bed rail lip. However, if you choose to drill for additional security, you must first check under your truck to ensure the drill location does not puncture brake lines, fuel lines, electrical wires, fuel tanks or other components.
Before installation, read all instructions thoroughly. Place the tool box in the truck bed and check clearance with the lid open to ensure it does not interfere with the cab. Ensure there is clearance between the open lid, top and back of the cab. Use a tape measure to verify the tool box will be centered in the truck bed.
Attach the adhesive side of the rail pad to the underside of the tool box ends. The rail pads are self-adhesive and do not require fasteners.
Place a J-hook under the lip of the bed rail and insert the threaded end up through the slot. Use only one J-hook assembly on each side of the vehicle. Attach with a 1/4" washer and 1/4" nut. Snug the hardware but do not fully tighten until you have re-measured to ensure the tool box is centered and the lid has clearance when open. Then fully tighten all hardware.
Use only one J-hook assembly on each side of the vehicle, for a total of two J-hooks. Each J-hook is inserted under the lip of the bed rail and secured with a washer and nut.
No. Snug the hardware initially but do not fully tighten. After snugging both sides, re-measure to ensure the tool box is centered and the lid has clearance when open. Once you have confirmed proper positioning, fully tighten all hardware.
The manual provides general torque guidelines: 1/4" bolts should be torqued to 3 ft-lbs. However, the manual notes that these are general guidelines and recommends using the torque specifications provided with the hardware if purchasing additional fasteners. For the specific J-hook assembly, consult the hardware manufacturer or contact UWS at 877-287-8634.
