The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Yes. On hatchback models, you must drill one 1/2" hole in the forward-most end of the slot in the side bracket on the passenger side, using the hitch as a template. This is a permanent modification.

The driver's side bracket is positioned inboard of the tie down hook. The passenger's side bracket is positioned outboard of the tie down hook.
