Yes. Lower the exhaust by removing the exhaust hanger from the frame to ease installation. The exhaust must be reinstalled after the hitch is mounted.
1. Lower the exhaust by removing the exhaust hanger from the frame. 2. Raise the hitch into position and insert 5/8" hex bolts and washers through the factory chain loop holes and hitch top plate holes; secure with 5/8" flange nuts and finger tighten. 3. Install a 5/8" carriage bolt and spacer into the rearmost hole on the passenger side frame rail and hitch side plate; secure with a 5/8" flange nut and finger tighten. 4. Fishwire the remaining 5/8" carriage bolts and spacers through the square access holes in the frame rails, pull bolts through frame and hitch side plate mounting holes, and secure with 5/8" flange nuts. 5. Torque all 5/8" fasteners to 210 lb.-ft. 6. Reinstall the exhaust.
