The hitch has a gross load capacity of 4000 lbs. trailer weight and 400 lbs. tongue weight when used as a weight-carrying hitch. Do not exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity.
The kit includes 6 M12×1.25 hex bolts (part 10-10419), 6 1/2" conical toothed washers (part 30-00149), 2 M8×1.25 hex bolts (part 10-10440), and 2 3/8" conical washers (part 30-00148). All bolts are grade 10.9 with yellow zinc plating.
No, drilling is not required. The hitch uses existing weldnuts on the frame rails for attachment.
All M12 hex bolts must be torqued to 86 ft.-lb.
All M8 hex bolts must be torqued to 23 ft.-lb.
Each side uses 3 M12 hex bolts with 1/2" conical washers and 1 M8 hex bolt with a 3/8" conical washer, for a total of 4 bolts per side (6 M12 and 2 M8 overall).
