Installation follows this sequence: (1) disconnect the negative battery terminal; (2) remove trunk floor coverings, storage trays, and interior panels to access the driver side taillight connector; (3) separate the vehicle taillight connectors carefully without damaging locking tabs; (4) insert the custom harness end with the yellow wire between the separated connectors, ensuring full insertion with locking tabs in place; (5) repeat the process on the passenger side using the harness end with the green wire; (6) install the center rear bumper connector using the brown and red wire harness end; (7) reconnect the battery terminal and reinstall all removed items.
