The WirelessAIR EZ Mount is an air suspension control unit that combines a manifold and compressor into a single assembly. It connects to air springs (purchased separately) and allows you to adjust vehicle suspension using a mobile app via the WirelessAIR system. The kit includes the EZ Mount assembly, wiring harness, 25 feet of 1/4" air line, fuse holder, and all necessary hardware for mounting and connection. It does not include a physical controller—operation is app-based only.
No. The kit includes the manifold, compressor, wiring harness and mounting hardware, but air springs are sold separately. The manual states that 'Schrader valve, air line, elbow fittings, air springs and associated hardware included with air spring kit. Air spring kits are sold separately.'
The frame width must be 2.25 to 3.75 inches and the frame height must be 7.5 to 8.5 inches. If your vehicle frame falls outside these dimensions, you must use the hex cap bolt or self-tapping screw mounting options instead.
No. The EZ Mount can be mounted in any orientation except with the logo upside down or the logo facing the ground. The manual explicitly states: 'DO NOT MOUNT EZ MOUNT WITH THE LOGO UPSIDE DOWN OR THE LOGO FACING THE GROUND.' There are mounting holes in the side of the bracket and in the top for flexibility, but logo orientation is fixed.
Ideally, mount the EZ Mount in the middle of the vehicle to optimize wireless performance. The unit should be located in an area shielded from direct splash to prevent moisture damage to the compressor. Keep the EZ Mount, wiring and air lines at least 6 inches away from heat sources such as the exhaust system.
You will need: a power drill, 1/4" and 3/8" drill bits, 3/8", 1/2", 5/16" and 9/16" sockets and a ratchet, a wire stripping and crimping tool, and a sharp razor knife. These tools are listed in the Tools List on page 1 of the manual.
The Hardware Pack includes: 2 tee 1/4" PTC fittings, 1 ATC fuse (spade 15A), 2 heat shrinkable butt splices (10–12 ga), 1 ATC/ATO fuse holder, 18 eight-inch zip ties, 1 ring terminal 3/8" (10–12 ga), 1 U-bolt, 2 nylon lock nuts (3/8"–16), 4 flat washers (3/8"), 2 hex cap bolts (3/8"–16 x 1.25"), 2 self-tapping hex screws (5/16"–18 x 0.75"), 3 tree mounts, 1 heat shrinkable butt splice (14–16 ga), and 1 ring terminal 3/8" (14–16 ga).
The manual does not specify whether the battery must be disconnected before installation. However, it does state that 'REMOVE ALL FUSES WHEN JUMP-STARTING OR WELDING ON THE VEHICLE' to prevent manifold damage. Before drilling, ensure that the back side of the mounting location is clear of vehicle components, including brake lines, fuel lines, and wiring. The manual states: 'BEFORE DRILLING, ENSURE THAT THE BACK SIDE IS CLEAR OF VEHICLE COMPONENTS, INCLUDING BRAKE LINES, FUEL LINES, AND WIRING.' Use the drilling template provided (Figure 5) and verify it has been printed at 100% scale using the one-inch scale reference.
You can mount the EZ Mount using: (1) hex cap bolts (M) with flat washers (L) and nylon lock nuts (K), (2) a U-bolt (J) with washers (L) and nylon lock nuts (K)—see Figure 3 for U-bolt installation details, or (3) self-tapping screws (N). Use the included template (Figure 5) for mounting with self-tapping screws or hex cap bolts. If using self-tapping screws, drill 1/4" pilot holes first.
Route an air line from port (1) of the manifold to the driver's (left) side air spring, and route an air line from port (2) of the manifold to the passenger's (right) side air spring. Install tee fittings and Schrader valves if manual inflation is desired. Avoid routing air lines near sharp edges; use rubber grommets if passing through frame holes. Support air lines every 8–12 inches with zip ties or other means. Keep air lines at least 6 inches away from heat sources such as the exhaust.
Cut off the terminals on the red and black compressor wires and connect them to the short red and black wires on the wiring harness using butt splices (F). The ground wire cannot be grounded to the chassis and must be connected to the harness. After making these connections, connect the wiring to the battery. Do not install the fuse until all connections are complete.
Attach the wiring harness to the top (preferred) or bottom of the EZ Mount bracket using tree mounts (O) and zip ties (H). Route the wiring harness outside of the compressor hose. Support wiring every 8–12 inches with zip ties or other means to prevent damage.
Use a sharp knife or hose cutter to make clean, square cuts. Do not use scissors or wire cutters, as these tools will deform the air line. Do not cut the lines at an angle. The minimum bend radius for 1/4" air line is 1 inch. Inspect the cut air line for lengthwise scratches; contact Air Lift customer service if the air line is damaged. Air lines must be installed straight into fittings.
Screw the 1/4" FNPT x 1/4" barbed tube fitting onto the inlet air filter and hand-tighten (no thread sealant needed). Attach the 1/4" air line to the barbed tube fitting. Locate a dry area away from heat sources where the air inlet slots are free from blockage. Secure the filter using proper fastening methods or drill a 3/8" mounting hole and push the filter bracket pin into it. Route the air line to the compressor inlet port, keeping away from sharp edges and maintaining proper bend radius. Cut the air line squarely to length and attach it to the barbed tube fitting on the compressor inlet port.
Press the connector on the wiring harness completely onto the manifold connector and listen for an audible 'click.' Then press the white lock on the connector toward the manifold to lock it in place. Ensure a proper drip loop exists to prevent water intrusion. Install the fuse last—the system will automatically fill to 5 PSI once the fuse is installed.
The pink wire connects to any wire that is active when the ignition is on. This allows the WirelessAIR system to make adjustments only when the ignition is turned on. For vehicle-specific ignition integration details, refer to SB-303, which is included with your system.
Install the fuse last, after all air line and wiring connections are complete. The manual states: 'INSTALL THE FUSE AFTER ALL CONNECTIONS ARE MADE.' Once the fuse is installed, the system will automatically fill to 5 PSI.
Install the compressor inlet filter in a dry location, pointed up with the hose routed down. The manual states: 'INSTALL COMPRESSOR INLET FILTER IN A DRY LOCATION. ENSURE THAT THE FILTER IS MOUNTED POINTED UP WITH THE HOSE ROUTED DOWN.' This prevents moisture from entering the compressor and causing system failure.
Torque the hex cap bolts (M) to 21–25 lb.-ft.
Torque the U-bolt (J) to 4–6 lb.-ft.
No. The manual states: 'Self-tapping screw torque: No torque spec is provided for self-tapping screws because there are too many variables.' Do not over-tighten self-tapping screws, as this can strip the threads or damage the mounting surface.
The minimum bend radius for 1/4" air line is 1 inch. Bending the air line more sharply than this can cause kinking and restrict airflow.
The kit includes one ATC fuse with a spade connector rated at 15 amps. This fuse protects the system and must be installed last, after all connections are complete.
