The ARIES Pro Series grille guard is unlike any other grille guard or brush guard on the road today because of its patented center crossbar. The ARIES Pro Series grille guard has a unique center crossbar that houses an LED light bar, allowing you to truly set your truck apart from all others. Rather than using a set of light clips or forcing you to drill holes into the frame, the aerodynamic crossbar of the Pro Series grille guard is the light bar housing itself. It uses a 30" slotted channel bracket to mount the included 30" LED light bar #1501264. The bracket can also accept other single-row light bars (some 30" light bars may not fit). The crossbar mount can also articulate, allowing you to position the light beam at any angle you prefer. Integrating the channel mount into the crossbar housing also keeps the light bar protected from the elements. To further stylize your truck, the Pro Series grille guard also comes with an interchangeable grille guard cover plate. Included with each grille guard is a black mesh cover plate that easily bolts on and provides added security for your aftermarket lights. The mesh cover plate can be swapped out with other cover plate options, including five different styl es and two finishes. Solid construction should be an essential feature of any grille guard, and the Pro Series grille guard is more than qualified. It has a one-piece design of 1/4" thick welded plates and 1-1/2" mandrel-bent carbon steel tubing. We also finish each Pro Series grille guard in a highly durable, dual-layer E-coat and textured black powder coat, giving it resilience to rust and scratches. This unique finish also helps hide minor scratches and grime to maintain a clean look. ARIES Pro Series grille guards are made vehicle-specific for seamless integration with the factory bumper and an easy, no-drill installation. 1. Verify all parts are present. 2. Attach LED light (if used) to support flange and install 8mm nut clips into support flange slots. 3. Lay grille guard face down and attach support flange with 8mm button head bolts and flat washers (snug, do not tighten). 4. Remove factory bumper support nuts from frame channel end and install driver/left frame mounting bracket using existing nuts for upper holes and 12mm x 120mm hex bolt for lower hole. 5. Repeat for passenger/right side. 6. Open hood and insert 10mm T-bolt plates through radiator support cross-member holes. 7. Attach top brackets to T-bolt plates with 10mm flat washers and nylon lock nuts (do not tighten). 8. Position grille guard onto mounting brackets with assistance. 9. Attach grille guard to mounting brackets with 6x 12mm x 35mm hex bolts, 12mm flat washers and nylon lock nuts. 10. Bolt top brackets to grille guard uprights with 10mm x 30mm button head bolts, flat washers and nylon lock nuts (do not tighten). 11. Align grille guard and tighten all hardware.
Select your LED light mounting hardware and brackets (sold separately). LED manufacturers provide different mounting styles, so determine your mounting options based on your specific LED light. Once determined, attach the LED light to the support flange as shown in Figure 1 of the manual. The manual notes that LED manufacturers will have similar but different mounting styles or brackets.
The support flange is secured to the center flange of the grille guard with 2x 8mm button head bolts, 2x 8mm flat washers, and 2x 8mm lock washers (one set per side). These fasteners should be snug but not fully tightened until final alignment in Step 11.
1. Remove the 3 factory nuts securing the bumper support to the end of the frame channel. 2. Line up the 3 upper holes in the frame mounting bracket with the threaded studs in the frame channel end. 3. Bolt the bracket to the studs using the existing nuts removed in step 1. 4. Insert 1x 12mm x 120mm hex bolt with 1x 12mm flat washer through the lower mounting hole in the bracket and into the frame channel end. 5. Secure with 1x 12mm flat washer and 1x 12mm nylon lock nut. 6. Tighten all hardware at this time. Repeat this procedure for the passenger/right side.
1. Open the hood and locate the factory hole on each side of the bottom of the radiator support cross-member behind the grille insert. 2. Select 1x 10mm T-bolt plate and insert it through the back of the cross-member and down through the hole in the bottom. 3. Slide the top bracket through the plastic grille opening and attach it to the T-bolt plate using 1x 10mm flat washer and 1x 10mm nylon lock nut. Do not tighten hardware at this time. 4. Repeat for the remaining top bracket.
With assistance, position the grille guard onto the inside of the mounting brackets. Use 6x 12mm x 35mm hex bolts, 12mm flat washers (12 total), and 6x 12mm nylon lock nuts to attach the grille guard to the mounting brackets. Do not fully tighten until final alignment.
Line up the mounting hole in each top bracket with the corresponding hole in the upright on the grille guard. Bolt each top bracket to the grille guard using 1x 10mm x 30mm button head bolt, 1x 10mm flat washer, and 1x 10mm nylon lock nut. Do not tighten hardware at this time. Tighten all hardware after final alignment in Step 11.
Do not fully tighten hardware until the grille guard is properly aligned. After positioning the grille guard and attaching all brackets and fasteners, align the grille guard properly and then tighten all hardware in Step 11.
Wax the grille guard after installation. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives, as these could damage the finish. For black finishes, mild soap may be used to clean the grille guard. Perform periodic inspections to ensure all hardware remains secure and tight.

The 1501264 is a 10-inch LED light bar designed for vehicle mounting. It includes a wiring harness, mounting brackets (left and right), a relay with pre-installed 15-amp fuse, switch, rubber spacers, and fasteners. The light bar can be mounted in a desired location and wired to the vehicle's battery through the included relay and switch.
The 1501264 is supplied with a relay for standard voltage systems. If your vehicle uses a 24V system, the relay will need to be replaced with a 24V unit. The manual states: 'If this light bar is being used with a 24V system, the relay will need to be replaced with a 24V unit.'
1. Mount the LED light in the desired location with a rubber spacer between the mounting surface and each bracket. 2. Disconnect the supplied switch from the wiring harness and install it in the desired location. 3. Route the wiring harness to the light and insert the male plug on the harness into the female socket on the LED light. Reconnect the blue, red, and black spade connectors to the switch (see wiring diagram). 4. Connect the red fused wire with ring terminal to the positive (+) battery post. Connect the black wire ring terminal to the negative (-) battery post or other suitable vehicle grounding point. 5. Mount the provided relay to the vehicle and secure all wires with zip ties away from moving parts. 6. Test the light to ensure proper function.
The LED light bar requires three connections: 1. Red fused wire with ring terminal to the positive (+) battery post. 2. Black wire ring terminal to the negative (-) battery post or other suitable vehicle grounding point. 3. Blue, red, and black spade connectors from the wiring harness to the switch (see wiring diagram for specific connections). The light bar connects to the switch via a male plug inserted into the female socket on the LED light.
The Aries 1501264 includes a 15-amp fuse, which is pre-installed in the relay.
Mount the LED light bar in the desired location using the included left and right mounting brackets. Place a rubber spacer between the mounting surface and each bracket to protect the vehicle finish and reduce vibration. Secure the brackets using the included M6 security screws (M6 - 1.0 x 25mm), M6 flat washers, and M8 hex head cap screws (M8 - 1.25 x 18mm) with M8 flat washers and M8 nylon lock nuts.
The supplied switch should be disconnected from the wiring harness and installed in a desired location of your choice. The manual does not specify a particular mounting location, allowing you to choose a convenient spot in your vehicle's interior.
