The ARIES Pro Series grille guard is unlike any other grille guard or brush guard on the road today because of its patented center crossbar. The ARIES Pro Series grille guard has a unique center crossbar that is able to house an LED light bar, allowing you to truly set your truck apart from all others. Rather than using a set of light clips or forcing you to drill holes into the frame, the aerodynamic crossbar of the Pro Series grille guard is the light bar housing itself. It uses a 30" slotted channel bracket to accept one or more single-row light bars (light bars not included; some 30" light bars may not fit the channel bracket). The crossbar mount can also articulate, allowing you to position the light beam at any angle you prefer. Integrating the channel mount into the crossbar housing also keeps the light bar protected from the elements. To further stylize your truck, the Pro Series grille guard also comes with an interchangeable grille guard cover plate. Included with each grille guard is a black mesh cover plate that easily bolts on and provides added security for your aftermarket lights. The mesh cover plate can be swapped out with other cover plate options, including five different styles and two finishes. Solid construction should be an essential feature of any grille guard, and the Pro Series grille guard is more than qualified. It has a one-piece design of 1/4" thick welded plates and 1-1/2" mandrel-bent carbon steel tubing. We also finish each Pro Series grille guard in a highly durable, dual-layer E-coat and textured black powder coat, giving it resilience to rust and scratches. This unique finish also helps hide minor scratches and grime to maintain a clean look. ARIES Pro Series grille guards are made vehicle-specific for seamless integration with the factory bumper and an easy, no-drill installation. This grille guard fits select model years of the Toyota Tacoma (see application info to verify fitment).

Six 12mm x 35mm hex bolts, twelve 12mm flat washers, and six 12mm nylon lock nuts secure the grille guard to the mounting brackets.
Wax the grille guard after installation and regularly thereafter to protect the finish. Use only mild soap for cleaning black finishes. Do not use polish or wax containing abrasives, as these can damage the finish. Perform periodic inspections to ensure all hardware remains secure and tight.
The kit includes: one grille guard, driver/left and passenger/right mounting brackets, driver/left and passenger/right top brackets, one support flange, two 10mm T-bolt plates, two 8mm nut clips, and all required fasteners (hex bolts, button head bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and nylon lock nuts in various sizes).
Lay out cardboard from the grille guard box or a blanket on the work surface before placing the grille guard face down. This protects the finish from scratches and damage during the installation process.
LED light mounting hardware and brackets vary by manufacturer. Determine your LED light's mounting options, then attach it to the support flange following the LED manufacturer's instructions. The support flange is designed to accommodate different mounting styles.
The two 8mm nut clips are placed into the slotted holes on either side of the support flange. They help secure the support flange assembly before final attachment to the grille guard.
With the grille guard laid face down, position the support flange (with LED light attached) into the center flange. Secure each side of the support flange to the upright plates of the grille guard using two 8mm flat washers and two 8mm button head bolts per side. Snug but do not fully tighten at this stage.
Remove the three factory nuts securing the bumper support to the end of the frame channel. Line up the three upper holes in the driver/left frame mounting bracket with the threaded studs in the frame channel end. Bolt the bracket using the existing nuts removed in the previous step. Insert one 12mm x 120mm hex bolt with a 12mm flat washer through the lower mounting hole, and secure with a 12mm flat washer and 12mm nylon lock nut. Tighten all hardware.
Follow the same procedure as the driver/left side: remove the three factory nuts from the bumper support at the end of the frame channel, align the three upper holes in the passenger/right frame mounting bracket with the threaded studs, bolt using the existing nuts, insert one 12mm x 120mm hex bolt with washers through the lower hole, and secure with a 12mm nylon lock nut. Tighten all hardware.
Open the hood and locate the factory hole on each side of the bottom of the radiator support cross member behind the grille insert. Insert a 10mm T-bolt plate through the back of the cross member and down through the hole in the bottom. Slide the top bracket through the plastic grille opening and attach it to the T-bolt plate using a 10mm flat washer and 10mm nylon lock nut. Do not tighten at this stage. Repeat for the other side.
With assistance, position the grille guard onto the inside of the mounting brackets. Use six 12mm x 35mm hex bolts, twelve 12mm flat washers, and six 12mm nylon lock nuts to attach the grille guard to the mounting brackets. Do not tighten hardware at this stage.
Line up the mounting hole in each top bracket with the corresponding hole in the upright on the grille guard. Bolt each top bracket to the grille guard using one 10mm x 30mm button head bolt, one 10mm flat washer, and one 10mm nylon lock nut. Do not tighten hardware at this stage.
After aligning the grille guard properly in its final position, tighten all hardware. This is the final step after all components are positioned and loosely bolted together.
Perform periodic inspections to ensure that all hardware is secure and tight. This helps maintain the structural integrity and safety of the installation over time.
For black finishes, use mild soap to clean the grille guard. Wax the product after installation and regularly thereafter to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax containing abrasives, as these can damage the finish.
The kit includes: eight 12mm lock washers, two 10mm x 30mm button head bolts, four 10mm x 27mm OD x 3mm large flat washers, four 10mm hex nuts, four 10mm lock washers, two 10mm x 30mm T-bolts, two 8mm clip nuts, two 12mm x 120mm hex bolts, two 8mm flat washers, six 12mm x 35mm hex bolts, two 8mm button head bolts, sixteen 12mm x 32mm OD x 3mm flat washers, and eight 12mm hex nuts.
The manual notes that it may be easier to bolt the top brackets to the horizontal cross member in front of the radiator after the factory skid plate has been removed, but this is not necessary. You may install them before or after skid plate removal based on your preference.
