The ARIES 3" bull bar is made for those who face the uncertain road without fear. This particular model is constructed from strong carbon steel and finished in a durable E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish to outlast rust and the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, polished stainless steel and textured black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado 1500, Suburban and Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon and Yukon XL (see application info to verify fitment).

The kit includes: 1 bull bar, 2 brackets (passenger and driver side), 2 bolt plates, 4 plastic plugs, 5 rubber bumpers, 2 pieces of 1/2–13 × 2.00" hex head bolts, 8 pieces of ½" flat washers, 6 pieces of ½" lock washers, 2 pieces of ½–13 hex nuts, 4 pieces of 3/8–16 × 1.25 hex head bolts, 8 pieces of 3/8" flat washers, 4 pieces of 3/8 lock washers, 4 pieces of 3/8–16 hex nuts, 2 pieces of M12–1.75 × 40mm hex head bolts, and 2 pieces of M12–1.75 hex nuts.
You will need a torque wrench capable of applying 65 ft·lbs and 30 ft·lbs, a utility knife (if your vehicle has no tow hooks and requires air dam modification), and standard hand tools for bolt installation. The manual does not specify additional tools.
Removal or relocation of the front license plate and bracket is not required but is strongly recommended to facilitate installation.

Protect the finish with a non-abrasive automotive wax. Do not use soap, polish, or wax containing abrasives, as these compounds scratch the finish and expose it to corrosion. The high finish must be maintained like any other high-finish product on the vehicle.
