The ARIES 3" bull bar is made for those who face the uncertain road without fear. This particular model is constructed from strong carbon steel and finished in a durable E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish to outlast rust and the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, polished stainless steel and textured black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Jeep Commander and Jeep Grand Cherokee (see application info to verify fitment).

The kit includes: 1 Bull Bar, 1 Driver Side Mounting Bracket, 1 Passenger Side Mounting Bracket, 4 × 10-1.50mm × 25mm Hex Head Bolts, 4 × 10-1.50mm × 40mm Hex Head Bolts, 2 × 10mm Double Nut Plates, 8 × 10mm Lock Washers, and 8 × 10mm ID × 30mm OD × 2.5mm Flat Washers.
The manual does not specify required tools. Standard tools for 10mm hex fasteners (wrench or socket set) are necessary. A helper is required for partial assembly and positioning of the Bull Bar.

Insert one 10mm Double Nut Plate with nuts facing up and wider side facing front, oriented so the small round hole and smaller square hole face outward. Repeat for passenger side. 3. Attach Mounting Brackets to the inside of Bull Bar using four 10-1.50mm × 25mm Hex Head Bolts, four 10mm Lock Washers, and four 10mm Flat Washers. Do not tighten. 4. With help, partially attach Bull Bar assembly to the inserted Nut Plates using four 10-1.50mm × 40mm Hex Head Bolts, four 10mm Lock Washers, and four 10mm Flat Washers. 5. Level and adjust Bull Bar properly, then tighten all hardware. 6. Perform periodic inspections to ensure all hardware remains secure and tight.
Do not tighten fasteners during Step 3 when attaching Mounting Brackets to the Bull Bar. Do not tighten during Step 4 when partially attaching the Bull Bar assembly to the Nut Plates. Tighten all hardware only after Step 5, once the Bull Bar has been leveled and adjusted to the proper position.
Insert the Double Nut Plate through the inside square hole in the radiator support with nuts facing up and the wider side facing the front of the vehicle. Orient the plate so the small round hole and smaller square hole face outward (toward the outside of the vehicle).
