The ARIES 3" bull bar is made for those who face the uncertain road without fear. This particular model is constructed from 304 stainless steel. 304 stainless is high in nickel content, allowing the bull bar to easily resist water, road salt and rust and maintain its mirror-like polished finish in spite of the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, textured black steel and semi-gloss black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD or 3500 HD (see application info to verify fitment).

No. The bull bar is not compatible with factory tow hooks. The factory tow hooks must be removed during installation and cannot be reinstalled. The installation procedure requires removal of the tow hook and its hardware from both the driver and passenger sides.

Yes. The manual specifies that assistance is required when positioning the bull bar assembly up to the mounting brackets (Step 8). At minimum, you will need one additional person to help hold and position the bull bar during attachment.

With assistance, position the bull bar assembly and loosely attach it to both mounting brackets. 7. Level and adjust the bull bar, then tighten all hardware.
No. The manual specifies that hardware should be left loose during the initial assembly stages. Frame bracket hardware (Step 5), mounting bracket hardware (Step 6), and bull bar attachment hardware (Step 8) should all be left loose until after the bull bar is positioned and leveled. Only after leveling and final adjustment (Step 9) should all hardware be fully tightened.
Yes. The manual notes that on some models, it may be possible or simpler to bolt the frame and mounting brackets together first and install them as one piece. This is optional and depends on your specific truck configuration.
Wax the bull bar after installation. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any polish or wax containing abrasives, as these can damage the finish. For stainless steel, aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs, and mild soap may be used for cleaning. For gloss black finishes, use only mild soap for cleaning.
